Mrs. Jones is my son caseworker, she is rude and does not like to help you at all. When she had information from the IRS, that could get my sons disability terminated she worked very hard even took time out to call me on a wonderful Saturday. But when she had all the information to get his benefits restarted she was no help at all. I turned in bank statements and got the loan officer to write a letter stating how much money I had in checking and savings and that I also had a loan at the bank. She told me that turning in those documents wasnu2019t going to change the status because I had over $2,000 dollars in my account. I explained to her that was a loan, that was not my money that was a loan that I was making payments on every month. I even mentioned to her that at the bottom of the letter that the loan officer wrote please feel free to call. Mrs. Jones told me she was not calling anybody cause she knew what she was looking at.nnDuring the summer of 2018 I called the office on a Wednesday where Gerald Bryant answered the phone, he was so rude wouldnu2019t let me get a word in, he abuses his power as a worker. He was so rude to me that when we hung up the phone I had tears in my eyes, thatu2019s how mad I was. I called back he answered and I told him that he was the rudest person I ever spoke to and I hope his day get better and he replied oh, Iu2019m sorry.nnJust the other day I called about a waiver form and Mrs. Cook answered the phone. She asked me what I needed the form for I said to get an overpayment waived she said what was the reason for the overpayment I told her what the letter said the reasons was. She replied, we do not waive for those reasons and I said why send me a letter saying that I can appeal or request for a waiver form if itu2019s no way possible that it can be waived.nnIu2019m not saying everyone at the office is rude because I know someone who has Mr.Shay as a worker and he is real nice and talks to you like you are actually human. I just received the Attorney General number and I hope that someone can help us with these rude people.

I have been to the Soc. Sec. Office in Minden 3 times. I am on Disability. I have Always been treated fairly. I have been given very good information from each employee, Including the security guard, ( he told me directions to another business) I have waited with others and the office is Always clean, they keep the lobby area with minimal noise. I have never seen them be Rude to anyone. They are Courteous, and very Professional. I will say That The clients can sometimes be Disrespectful to the Enployees. Thank you for always giving me the correct information.nR. Sherrard

At the Minden, La. office, Mr. Bryant is the rudest, most unprofessional person! He tried to intimidate me when I called about my file! His abuse of power as an SSA employee is disgraceful! If you ever get mistreated, write complaints against him or whomever treats you badly because we as consumers deserve better!

Mr. Gerald Bryant was most helpful and kind to me during my visit. My future Disability Benefits are uncertain at this point, but he was very nice in handling my situation. I am most grateful.

I have made 3 visits to the SS office for help. They could not have been nicer. I did not have to wait too long. For a Government facility, A+ rating. I think it was Mr. Bryant.
