First off, if I could give them a negative number I surely would. Rude, condescending, liars is what they are. It takes forever to get them to answeru2026like your entire lunch break..I took a half day off from work, drove an hour to take papers THEY asked for and Anna picked thru them like they had some sort of horrible disease. She informed me that she did not have time to scan my very personal documents so I could leave with them. (There were 3 people in the office..me, her and the security guard. She said I could come back and pick them up, to which I said no, I could not take off from work another day, so she agreed to mail them back to me. Anyone want to take a guess as to whether that happened? Nope. I called back todayu2026she had not done anything with them yet. Iu2019m bringing in documents to the office THEY asked for..and this is how Iu2019m treated. All because Iu2019m asking for the money I have paid into since I was 17 and am still paying intou2026God help us all.

I went in to get a name change on my ssc on Jan 6th of 2022. I took the day off, sent a text to my husband letting him know when I arrived, texted my mom after letting her know the snow was getting bad, a gentleman opened the door to the office for me and made a joke about how he wished they'd let him go early that day to avoid getting stuck in the snow, and the woman at the desk to the left of the entrance had me sit down, took my ssc application, marriage certificate, etc and processed them. She let me know I'd get my new card with my new name in about 2 weeks. It's been over a month, so I called the office to check on the status of my new card. The rude woman that answered the phone tells me they weren't even open on Jan 6, they never processed my application, and said I'd need to go through this process again. First of all, I don't need some government worker to gaslight me. I literally spoke to several people about where I was going, what I did, and where I went that day, the entire day. Second, fix your attitudes. Third, what more can you expect from a social security office. It's an understatement to say I'm irate, you need to figure out how to run your lousy office.

The office of course still isnu2019t open for business, which makes any correspondence with them difficult. I sent my information in for a name change, I received my card, with my name misspelled. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with the office trying to correct this, only for them to tell me I had to resend everything. The lack of proofing the card continues to baffle me as our social security cards are very important for all other personal identifiers as well as employment. The correct spelling of my name was in 10 different spots of the name change application and resources. The lady I spoke with was very friendly and personable, and the turn around time was relatively quick for having to mail everything x 2.

Iu2019ve tried calling for two weeks, during the mornings, during lunchtime, during afternoons. No one has ever answered during the last nine business days. The doors are locked, canu2019t schedule an appointment, do they even work?

I just left this place and Iu2019m kind of disappointed with the service I got. It was fairly quick, but I had a question regarding if there was any sort of copy I could get to show my new place of employment proof of my social so I can start work. The lady just kept repeating the same statement back to me with a bit of an attitude rather than hearing me out as to what I was asking for. It was almost robotic the way she kept repeating the same line of u201cyouu2019ll get your card in two weeks and youu2019ll get a receipt today.u201d Overall, not a bad experience but I didnu2019t appreciate the attitude I received when asking it question. It left me leaving feeling like I asked a dumb question.

I am very disappointed in the way I was treated at the bowling green ky office today. the lady there acted as though she was better than I was. very rude person. she acted like helping answer questions for me was not what she gets paid for. I had a lot of things me and my mom wanted to ask about but she would not even acknowledge my mom at all. after sitting and waiting my turn I would have been better off talking to a computer, I think they are nicer than she was. very disappointed in my service. but I would like for her to know if people didn't need social security she might not have a job, and if she doesn't like her job, perhaps she should look for another one, but first she must change her attitude toward people.

My mother is trying to retire and apply for social security. She called the BG, KY SS office. Someone namedElliescreamed at my mom when she asked questions about how to file. I'm disgusted withEllie'srude behavior towards my mother. These calls are recordedEllie'ssupervisors need to review the call. We'll be making a trip up there. BE WARNED THE EMPLOYEES WILL SCREAM AT YOU IF YOU ASK ANY QUESTIONS!

Chances are if someone is collecting disability benefits why make their life more difficult by being rude and nasty to them?nnCompassion goes a long way. Pretty sad my children and I were not shown any by the BG SSA office this holiday season. Hopefully if God ever makes you disabled, or gives you a disabled child that the two workers that handled my case get a little more kindness than they showed my family.

I have lived in California (San Bernardino & Los Angeles) for 50 + years, going to the Social Security office has always been grueling, wait times of an hour minimum. This office in Bowling Green Kentucky has a wait time of about 10 minutes that's incredible. Possibly this is the typical wait time for the state of Kentucky! This is my second visit here.

Very do it yourself hobby kit setup but staff is efficient IF you do your part before you get to the window, otherwise, yeah you are probably going to have a bad day. I had no problems getting a replacement card quickly but from some of the howls at other windows I suspect people were not experiencing the same well oiled bureaucracy I was. It's located in an odd spot but maps will get you there.

I just got a letter on the 6 of December about our daughters SSI disability case. It says i have 10 days to respond. And appeal their decision from the date on the later. which was dated nov 30. I called yesterday and today. Wednesday they close early. I didn't get the later until around 4pm. I called at 2:30pm and have been waiting for over a hour. 1:15 mims to be exact. Very upsetting.

They have a lot of booths but not enough service reps. Doesn't make sense if they have all that why they can't hire enough people to keep every one from waiting 2 to 3 hours. Sure don't feel like my tax dollars are being well spent when I can't get the servicesthey'reputting in their budgets.

Very efficient and courteous staff. Waiting room was packed but I got in and out twice in the same day within 30 minutes each visit. Have all your paperwork ready for quickest service

Just wanted to know if they would be open on election day, was stuck in the phone with a robot for 20 minutes until the office closed. Would be nice to have an option to speak to a human quicker.

Wait time on the phone 2 hours & 3 minutes just to change addresses & give my new number & still never got answers, my mom tried to call about charging her address & getting the direct express card & they told her the food stamp office did that stuff, what a way to treat someone (at the bowing green office) there so rude to people
