What a joke. Not open to walk ins, although literally every other state and federal facility has reopened months ago. And no one ever answers a phone call. How can anyone accomplish anything when there is absolutely NO way to interact with this office. What a joke. Why are those employed here even at work. Waste of federal money imo.

If you donu2019t like your job in helping those in need, please find another another elsewhere!! It doesnu2019t make sense to be rude and immature over the phone towards people you THINK you wonu2019t see in person.

Anytime I have been in the social security office they have been nice & helpful. The people behind the counter also was nice & helpful. They got me what I needed & asked if I needed anything else

My son receives SSI benefits and our worker is amazing, however some of the representatives are extremely rude. I called today to see if they had received a letter that I had sent out because I hadnu2019t heard back and also had a question about another form that was sent to me. The lady I spoke with didnu2019t give me time to finish what I was saying and proceeded to tell me, u201cthey will get back to you when they can. Thereu2019s no need to call, they get way too many follow up calls.u201d she then assumed that I had sent out my letter late and began to lecture me. Then, she hung up before I could even ask my question. Both her tone and attitude were cold, she was no help at all. Iu2019m highly disappointed in their customer service.

I tried to contact this office by phone, simply to verify that they are open. I instead had to listen to a very long recording of the mission statement variety. I hung up in frustration.

The officer is friendly and kind. I talked to a couple of individuals over the phone and they were incredibly helpful and polite. However, when it comes to the in-person appointment, I had a different experience. I worked with one person in particular and she was unprofessional, incompetent, and unhelpful. She called my name, I approached the counter, and she just stared at me without saying anything, until I started talking. I had an appointment scheduled and expected her to know why I was there. I struggle to comprehend why someone with no people skills or necessary knowledge would be in a position which requires facing customers on a daily basis.

I don't like the way they treat me at all. I'm supposed to get my mother's benefits this morning and got nothing. I'm a 32 year old disabled woman and don't deserve this treatment of my income being played with. I feel, I'm getting played with anyways. This is outright wrong. I had a bill that I was supposed to take care of today and now, I can't. Because, I didn't get my mother's benefits. I highly recommend that this issue was solved, some way, some how. I don't like that the fact that these people want to do this to me or anyone in a matter of fact. If this is gonna happen again, my results for social security is that I will get a lawyer involved. Because, this has happened to me to many times and I am done with these games.

The officer in the building is the only good thing here, he is friendly but does his job. The people behind the desk on the other hand are rude and unprofessional. Youu2019ll go in one day and theyu2019ll tell you the proper documents too bring and then when you go back in it isnu2019t what you needed too bring so youu2019ll get the cold shoulder and snarky comments. Itu2019s too bad their isnu2019t good help. I get the type of low rent people you normally deal with in the ss office but not everyone going in is like that. The ss office is to serve and help the people, maybe itu2019s time too get rid of the old and in with the new.

Through government control these individuals have to squeeze 40 hours of work into a permanent reduced work week.nThanks for having someone that does their job like they are suppose to. If you don't like your purse checked then don't bring it in.nGreat job everyone!
