    Must be great to not have to mask up and return to work like the rest of the world while making things hard for those who need to be seen in person and dont feel comfortable mailing or dropping off their original documents to be mailed back bc y'all just cant mask TF up like the rest of the world and go back to work!!     I'm in the process of fixing a lot of paperwork, and social security has been the only step that wasn't a train wreck.     The most unprofessional people I've dealt with. These people are highly unqualified for these jobs.nThey lost my mothers documents needed for retirement. USPS says someone there signed for it.     The only day I had to change my name after work I wasn't able to because it was temporarily closed. They leave a number on the door for you to call, then you wait almost an hour, and then they tell you that you have to go to an open office to get assistance. Even though the automated system asks you if you are calling to change your name, it still has you wait for a person, not specifying the fact that you have to visit the office. They try to push you to mail in your information, even after explaining how you can't trust the mail to get back to your home. Terribly dissatisfied. Now I have to hope I can get off work early enough next Tuesday to try agian

    Horrible! Waited two hours not to be called while people who came after me went before me. They never called my number, and the society guy told me I was in the line for window one. Yet, higher numbers are called. All for a social security issue. They have no order and waste people's time because they can't get it together. Divide the windows by issues. People who need a new social or you messed up something, shouldn't wait two hours. This place is always a joke and don't care how they assist people.

    I went in and sat in the office for 2.5 hours before I couldnt take it any longer and left. They say go in later in the day and later in the week it was later in the day week and month so dont believe them and all I need to kknow is why you always over pay me then take my check for months at a time. I've been on the phone for 1.5hrs today on a 45min wait time. Do y'all know how to tell time or know anything. Why not get a call back number so people dont waist their whole day on the phone waiting for someone to pick up.

    they never answer or process paperwork..then send duplicates. today it was on hold for 35 minutes by phone or have someone call me back. a different office called back who said i need to call my local office. tried again. it rang and rang then it just hung up. awful...is either call and ask supervisor where my paperwork is at or go there and wait in line forever to hand it over to be stuck in a pile of unprocessed paperwork again. keep copies of everything turned in...i have found to get answer one must go to congressmans office to get answers or results is only thing that has helped.

    Oh they are full on retarded. She said my worker would call me at 5 her name is Shauna I got no call. My benefits were suspended because of an address mix up, which in January I had called and updated all my new information. I told them I'm in transit and to make sure my new mailing address and phone number were updated because I didn't want to miss a review. Sure enough it's march and they still had my old address and old phone number. So my benefits for April are suspended until the review is done. Could have had it done today I went online to reupdate my info, it said to go to my local office. I went this morning. I sat and waited with my number only to be told my worker was booked solid for the day, but that she could do a phone interview at 5. I got no phone call. I'm going back there tomorrow morning. Imagine a whole weekend sleeping in our truck because they can't do their job. I even told them how important it was that I get my benefits back because that money is going to get a roof over my head. Part of me think they're screwing with me because I'm homeless. It's due to a corrupt landlord. And the city of #muscatine is 100% corrupt. They let that man #alanrusher totally screw us.     Automated phone service is horrible. There is no way to check an appointment time without sitting on hold for 30 minutes or waiting over an hour for a call back. I should be able to do that myself through the automated service without waiting to speak to a live person. The appointment has been set for a month.

    On my first trip to the office I found the service was great. I had to wait a little bit, but I expected to not having an appointment. Very polite and friendly staff. Government offices get a bad reputation, but let's not forget how lucky we are to live in a country that has them. Very satisfied customer !

    I have been on ssi for a year and a hafe and every month there is something that comes up new, time to get my back pay and paper works is all messed up, very very frustrating and stressful, but Mrs. Lear is understanding and does try to help as much as she can, but still jest frustrating when your needing something and bills hafe to be paid and food on the table, but theres nothing you can do becouse its in someone else hands..
