The man I spoke with became rude and even raised his voice at me because I asked him to re-explain a question. I then spoke with his supervisor who treated me with respect and answered all of my questions with no problem. He said he would be having a talk with the other worker and apologized.

Since I was approaching 62, I came to apply for early SS benefits. I had questions about my benefits, especially about the limits on earned income and penalties. The gentleman was very courteous and answered all of my questions. I could not commit at the time until I was able to confirm with my workplace that they could reduce my hours to stay below the earned income limit, which they did. I came back a second time to apply and was waited on by a very nice young lady who treated me equally well. Overall, it was a very good experience.

This place was wonderful. Iufe0f drove from the Omaha office after being in there all of 15 minutes with rude security, unprofessional workers, and just an overall ran down place. This was my first time going to the Social Security office, and only needed to change my name. After researching this office in Council Bluffs, Iufe0f decided to take my chances, and it was the best decision. Iufe0f was looking at waiting over 2 hours at the Omaha office, Iufe0f walked into Council Bluffs office and it was only 3 people there.nnEven had to drive back home to grab more documents and come back, and the place was still empty 3 hours later. This is where Iufe0f will always go if Iufe0f ever need to visit the Social Security office again.nKudos to the Council Bluffs, because the Omaha office needs to be evaluated.

Everyone knows any government agency has a wait period. The workers at this location were helpful, well informed, and got our name change taken care of within minutes of us being called up to the window.

The security guard was pleasant but the customer service guy behind the glass (A1 at 11:50 am 7/30/19) looked miserable and was uninterested in helping as he straight up lied to me to avoid doing minimal work that other people with the same job title have done. Stay away from this place at all costs. Thereu2019s other locations where the people actually care about their job.

Long Wait. And The People Were Rude. However I Will Say On My Last Trip The Lady Was A Little Nicer And More Understanding. It Took 3xs Though To Get Right. They Want So Much To Just Get A Card.
