This office is a waste of tax payers money. I have called so many times but never got to talk to anyone. They keep putting me on hold for 30 minutes each time then transferred to an unanswered number then disconnected me. So frustrating!

I've called and called and can't ever can't an answer. They want me to send my hard copy of my driver's license through the mail to show proof of identity to get my kids replacement cards........

Can't get the paperwork I need from them to set up an account for my son. I've asked 4 times now and the 3rd time I got the wrong papers. This has been going on since Nov. Dec. They need to open up so people can actually get ahold of them. I've called 19 times today just for it to keep disconnecting.

It is impossible to speak with a person the automated systems just hang up on you no matter what time you call or you sit for hours waiting and then they hang up You can't get a question answered at all.

I could not be more grateful for the people working at this Burlington SSA. They have helped me on multiple occasions in dealing with social security cards, and they have been able to not only assist in a timely and efficient manner, but also go above and beyond for the people I refer to them. From the top down, their kindness & hospitality in dealing with unique social security situations has left me with trust & respect with this organization. You can tell they truly care for the people that walk through their front doors.

I called three times.. three.. and was automatically put on hold for ridiculous amounts of time and then out of nowhere the call would just end.... I've had the worst day ever and just want to have someone help me resolve an issue I have but it feels impossible to actually talk to someone for help.

Why would normal people have to drive 30 miles (60 roundtrip) just to go to their u201cnearestu201d Social Security Office? This is unacceptable. There should also be an office in Mount Pleasant, unless SSA is paying for the gas and time involved. And, as one of the other folks said, what is their DIRECT DIAL phone number?

They are the most professional and friendly people operating a local SS. office at 3920 Division Street in Burlington Iowa. The manager (can't recall her name) is awesome, I've been dealing with her for many years, always helpful and proficent in their duties, thank You.
