She helped me & my husband to understand the calculations & benefits & risks of filing early vs late, Medicare part A & B, as well as eligiblily standards. She also advised us to create a profile online for future updates. Iu2019m so grateful to have gotten her on the line. I had reviewed previous reviews which were negative and I wasnu2019t sure what to expect. Again, Thank you Mrs. Easterly for being so kind, knowledgeable and patient with us. Itu2019s very obvious that you enjoy your job and people.

    I over heard one woman loud talking an elderly man because she was mad he didnu2019t use their on line services. She was so disrespectful! This was before COVID. She didnu2019t want to do her job. She said, u201cwhy did you come in here for this? You should have done this on line.u201d However, the young lady who assisted me was very kind.     I understand phone services are down but when it comes to times like this it should be another way to get into contact I've tried emailing just to be told to call. And you have to call to schedule an appointment. Phone services are down atleast set up a call back number or voicemail machine so that way when phone services are down it can be easier for everyone sheesh I need my son's ssc for daycare and I never received it and now can't get ahold of anyone

    I called and an automated voice message told me to call back later in the week, they were busy assisting other callers. They hung up on me. It has always been difficult to get a call through. Now they won't even try to assist. No opportunity to leave a message, request a call back or anything. Is this office even open at all?

    Such an incompetent and discriminatory service over the phone. Before this representative from the Macon GA office hung up the phone on me, this lady provided me with inaccurate information according to the website. I called to see what I need to update my children's Inmigration status to US citizenship, and she said that I need some type of letter from USCIS stating how they became US citizens. This lady is telling people at the Macon SSA office u201cthat a US passport is not acceptable to prove US citizenshipu201d.     Completely unhelpful and rude. The information I read online clearly states (screenshot below) an appointment is not necessary, but could help avoid wait times. When I tried to call to make an appointment, the call was dropped. So, I decided to go without an appointment since according to the website, it wasnu2019t required. But, when I arrived I was told very rudely I had to have an appointment, but that I had to call the office to make it. Tried calling twice and both times, same thing: went through the lengthy automated menu, on hold forever, and then the call drops. Unbelievably frustrating!

    I was calling the Macon Ga office but the Dublin office answered, Why do these people talk so ugly, They talk with such an attitude they don't even let you speak I had to tell the lady to give me one minute so I could explain what was Going on. this is bad, They act like The money is coming out of their pocket I had to tell her that this was taxpayer's money people that pay social security that's where it comes from lady.

    I can not comprehend the fact that I am disabled and clearly stated on the social security website that I am eligible for social security benefits with my disability and medicaid. They approved me for it and I recieved back pay them a few months later changed everything and say I owe for over payment. But then they swap it all around and I make less but have medicaid and I gave up for a while because I've been in and out of the hospital and Jerked around with these folks. I don't understand why someone that already has a million problems has to deal with this also?

    Very Helpful !!! I spoke with Tiffany Purnell & after I had a very clear mind and a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. With all the scams going on Tiffany gave me important information that I needed In a timely manner along with some advice about my situation that will last me a lifetime . Tiffany was very respectful, very patient, very kind and very understanding . After speaking with Tiffany I was able to smile again after the sleepless night I had after the scam call .     It appears the staff is overwhelmed. The phone is placed off the receiver to avoid calls. This is frustrating when the staff at the regional office can't get through.

    After speaking with somebody from the big office who had nothing but attitude...I called the Macon office and a Miss Lee sent me out the forms I needed to get my Medicare started...[edit] she said I might have a 2wk wait for the forms...well I received them within 3days...Thanks again Miss Lee

    The wait time wasn't horrible for how many people were there. We waited about 30 minutes and then spent another 30 minutes with our officer. He was very kind and wasn't fully familiar with administering a number to a K1 visa immigrant (my fiance) but he took his time and was patient with it. Overall good experience.

    The administrative staff are pleasant, however, the older guy who's the security guard makes you feel uncomfortable as soon as you walk in the door! He'll disrespectfully scrutinize minor offenses such as a ringing phone or talking amongst one another. It's ok to tell someone to excuse themselves if their on their personal phone, but do so in a respectable manner. For an hour, I watched him treat mature adults like they were in grade unnecessary! His comments and demeanor were offensive and should not be tolerated by this agency.

    So I don't went here on Friday for a name change. I had all appropriate documentation. After an hour of waiting I was told I did not have the right paper and was sent home. My husband called the manager. She apologized and said I should. It have been turned away since I had everything I needed. She gave me her number told me to come back Monday and call her when I got here. I did just that. Mind you I'm 8 months pregnant. When I got here they made me wait again cause the person I was supposed to see was on a conference call. Does no one else know how to do their job? This place is awful.
