If I could give no stars I would. Iu2019ve been trying for over a month now to submit my documents to change my name. Iu2019ve tried calling, I canu2019t get anyone on the phone. Iu2019ve been to the office 6 times now to try and get some help since no one will answer the phone. I just attempted to drop my documents off in the drop box and I was told I had to make an appointment to do so. When I asked of he was serious, the security guard laughed at me through the door and walked off. The fact that my tax dollars are paying for the straight up unprofessional and rude u201ccustomer serviceu201d is unacceptable. Do better.

When I asked about getting an appointment to order a replacement card for my child, an agent at this location (Mrs. Johnson) told me that I could not do that because the SS offices are closed to the public. She advised me that I would need mail them my driver's license - my original driver's license, not a copy of the card - to complete my request.nnThe social security website explicitly requests that citizens do NOT mail in their original driver's license /passport / et cetera.nnThe agent became peeved with me when I asked further questions, and eventually hung up on me.nnTo sum up: Agent was ignorant of policy, and rude. I called a different office within 15 minutes and got an appointment scheduled.

I would like to thank Kenzie Mack and Amberal Watson for their help with the unique problem I had and their ability to deal with it. Thank you both for the care and direction we received.

I have had both phone and in-person interactions with the staff at the Griffin SSA office. The service and support has been nothing short of exemplary. I had specific questions regarding international totalization agreements. They always get back to you promptly and with an answer! The interpersonal skills of the various staff are to be commended namely Ms Hawes and Mr Singelton and another lady who met with me in-person whose name I do not recall.

Ms. Sarpong was absolutely amazing. All phone service - but patiently walked us thru the issue we were facing and what to expect. Gave us clear and direct next step issues. Had quick response about various options and benefits at different ages. She even verified that our fax (yes they require faxes) was received. She was very helpful and very responsive.

Itu2019s crazy how fast they can cut off a benefit check but just will not turn it back on. It was a few people that let me speak on my relatives behalf since heu2019s disabled. The rest wonu2019t even let me finish before questioning who i am and starts getting rude before I can even finish saying what I have to say I get hung up on regardless Iu2019ve been patient with them until today. He has missed two checks and no one wants to get it right.

If I could rate this negative stars, I would! Been told so many different things by different people. Theres one person specifically that has been insanely rude to me anytime I've spoke with her. Ive sent in paperwork many times, to get my sons card replaced. Each time they send it back, saying I'm missing something or something isn't up to date, when its actually all right! No one would set up an appointment for me to come in. I had to call another office, an hour and half away, to set up an appointment. Im finally getting things taken care of now, with this other office.

Had to apply for Med B and had left a form out of my package. They were great about allowing me to fax and giving me a number. Later, when I called to verify the changes had been made, Ms. Allen checked and found an issue. She was gracious to set in motion a resolution and asked me to call back in a couple of days to make sure it had been completed correctly.

Donu2019t listen to what they tell you in the phone, they will tell you the opposite in person. The security officer has no clue whatu2019s going on either. Customer service doesnu2019t exist here.

Considering there was a full office and you had to take a number unless you made an appointment, the wait was not bad. The representative we had was very helpful but she never smiled and was very robotic. I know we live in a pretty wacky world but having the plexiglass barrier between us made it a little difficult. Not only was it a little bit intimidating but we couldnu2019t always hear her. I had to stand up and get close to the glass sometimes To hear. Then there was the background noise. It was a rather stressful visit just because of the way the place is set up. We should have called instead.

Used their telephonic service. Representative was extremely rude and unhelpful. Hung up on me mid question. Go somewhere else and get assistance. Do not use the Morrow branch.

Fabulous experience! Mr. Copeland and Ms. Everette made sure we had everything we needed. Mr. Copeland helped twice over the phone before our arrival and it made our tasks easy flow. Ms. Everette was also very kind and patient. Thanks for making what we thought would be a stressful issue one that was filled with professional help and smiles!

We just moved here & I thought this location was great compared to others Iu2019ve been to. I got there right when they were opening and there was a line to get in and the waiting room got full. The security guard was really nice, and I really didnu2019t have to wait long at all. They kept everything flowing well and once I got to the clerk who helped me, I was in and out really quickly. I was there to change my name on my ss card.

Spoke with Erin a moment ago and she is FABULOUS. She answered all of my questions and set up the things that needed to be done without having to physically go to the office. I highly recommend the Griffin, GA office.

Very small parking lot but setting up benefits were a breeze with them. I had no issues. Be sure you bring all you paperwork needed.

The wait time is INSANE HERE !!!! Itu2019s better to bring magazines, books , newspapers to read while waiting for an hour just to ask one question then be sent BACK to the waiting room yet again until your number is called ...
