    I recently got married and have been trying to update my last name on my social security card. I mailed them all the needed documents back in October, and called multiple times but they never answer. I left voicemails but no calls are returned. It has been 6 months and I still didn't get my updated social security card. It is frustrating since I need this in order to update my other documents (driver's license, bank, etc)

    I wish I can give 0 star on this office , I sent application for my son ss number and called several times but they have no idea where is my application go through . I sent through mail and there is no way they can find where is it . They are clueless and no idea what they need to do . Waiting on phone takes forever but you donu2019t get any help at all. All employees are extremely rude especially the one answering your phone . You have to dial atleast 100x to get someone to answer your call . When you dial the extension Goodluck if they will answer your call . Very worsts office I experienced

    I was on hold for less than 5 minutes (which is very reasonable). I had many questions regarding the paperwork process for both retirement and Medicare. I spoke with Stacy Price at this office. She was extremely friendly, polite and helpful. She was able to schedule an appointment for the next day, She informed me what documents I would need, so I will be prepared for my meeting. I feel I had excellent service.

    Itu2019s been really bad experience, I apply a month and half for a SSN for my father after they asked him go to the office in person, every time you call they donu2019t know what to say about his application even said they misplaced the application or they donu2019t know who was the last person working on the case or the give you a really bad actitud they want to help. Only one secretary there that speak Spanish tries to help up out.

    I applied for social security and they lost my drivers license! I also attached my visa and this guy told me u201cyou will have to come back and bring your visau201d as he handed it back to me. There is no form of communication between staff and they all seem clueless.
    The Worst!! At least 50% of the time, you will get hung up on. They won't call you on your appointment time/date and then they'll make you reschedule for another month. I originally had an appointment for December. Here we are in March and I still have received No Help!!

    This is my first review of anything, but couldn't let go of this horrible service. The guard was very pleasant and explained rules of decorum. I signed in at the kiosk answering the question regarding purpose of my visit. I sat in the waiting room for two & a half hours before being called to a window. The future fast food worker asked why I was there, so I told her I was at full retirement age wanting to file for spousal benefit. She told me there was nospecialistthat could handle that & I would need to make an appointment or come back. 7 people working behind the windows and nobody could do this very basic chore? Why didn't they look at what was typed in at the kiosk before making wait almost 3 hours? No wonder this office has 2.7 rating. I only gave it 1 for the guard being nice. Find another SS office. Hopefully SS Admin will visit this office to try and train these people the most basic of rules.

    Cannot even get anyone to answer the phone at this office, and I am unable to leave a voice message. I am forced to contact them via certified mail to hopefully get a response. Make sure you send any correspondence to them via certified mail, and also, do what I did and file a constituent complaint with my Senator's office.

    Theyu2019ve had my license and sons social application since January 16th itu2019s now March 2nd, Iu2019ve called 20 times and any time someone finally decides to answer the phone they transfer you to someone else who doesnu2019t answer at all. Endless cycle of leaving voicemails. Working from home for them is a horrible idea because they donu2019t work AT ALL.

    I took my brother in law there. We arrived about 45 minutes before opening, so we were only a few places back in the line. Security guard was very pleasant and helpful. Within an hour we were out of the door. The person working on his paperwork was also very helpful and friendly. No complaints at all here.

    Horrible wait time and as I'm waiting I answered my phone remind never spoke out loudly just said ok to the person and hung up the guard wants to say something to me over a simple ok and I whispered. While to whole waiting room is loud and I had to hear the guard talk about his whole life story while waiting like I can careless about your life and political thoughts so the guard is very unprofessional on that part.

    They told me they are understaffed and after I waited 2 months for my appointment they still didn't have the answers I needed and didn't help me with the paperwork. She told me I needed to take the paperwork home that she gave me and I said well I am not really understanding it and she said I am sorry but we are understaffed. I need to help the next person. That to me is a slap no a punch in the face. When I asked them to help. I let her know I was leaving unhappy with my questions not answered. She didn't care.. What a shame.

    It's been a little while since I've been there but when I went here was about an 1-1u00bd hour wait. I went because of problems with my SSD check. The guy that helped me was in a wheelchair as am I. He was working his fastest as the computers would let him and making phone calls to Tallahassee to see what happened to my check; finally they got it all figured out. He asked me to come back the next day due to the office already been closed for 30-45 minutes but, he told me he wouldn't be there and gave me the name of another employee to talk to that would also know what was going on with my case as he would update her by email. He also, gave me a note to give to the security officer that would fast track me to the front of the line. So I could talk to the other employee when I came in the next day and I wouldn't have to wait. So the next day I only had to wait for about 15 minutes. I talked with an elder lady and had all my paperwork and they called Tallahassee office again and got an approval to print me a check out. Both employees where very nice, curtious, and was working efficiently to try to get me in and out with no problems on both days. Also both days the security guard at that time was a really nice guy. I sat by his desk since there was no other place for a wheelchair to fit. I talked and joked around with him as he did his job in a kind manner. He told me the day before he had to areest some idiot for bringing a gun into the office building.

    As far as going in to change your name after marriage, itu2019s super fast!! Was in and out in less than 20 minutes and the employee was very friendly and efficient. This was on a Tuesday at 2:30pm

    Stood in line in the heat, just to find out that I won't get my new card for two weeks, and they didn't even print my number on it, I needed something from their office with my name and number, today, and that long wait really messed up my day along with the heat, long wait, can't be on your cellphone, and all that waiting just to be given a useless piece of paper

    Im not sure what to do! They mixed my personal documents with someone elses personal files. How do they know what is what if they dont have the right facts. I need help and I dont know what or who to talk to. If you call they get upset that your calling. and all they say is you better send back the documents but how is that helping me?
