I WAS TOLD I COULD NOT HAND DELIVER MY document without an appointment I am currently HOLD FOR OVER AN HOUR OR SO AND THAT IS EVEN IF YOU CALL FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, WHICH OPENS WHEN THEY HAVE TIME TO OPEN AS IT IS NEVER TIMELY AND AT NINE.     They've spent the last two years saying that they cannot give anyone appointments. The security guard at the front told me to call them to make an appointment. he gave me a phone number. I call that phone number and after about 30 minutes wait The woman answered with an extreme attitude for no reason. The conversation escalated from there they're not going to help you if you have something that can't be handled online. She told me they don't do in person appointments even though I could see people physically inside of the building when I was there and saw them checking in for appointments . This review is completely pointless as there's nothing I can do fo about it but they are lazy and don't want to do anything but collect that taxpayer paycheck

    This office was awesome! From even before I walked in the door, the security officer opened the door for me, and offered me direction. Two steps inside and a very friendly lady asked how she could help, and then went over and above to help me out - getting me to an agent, when I only stopped in to make an appointment! Was at a very friendly and knowledgeable agent in less than 2 minutes of walking in the door! She assisted me, gave me options, and in a few minutes, I had the task that I stopped by to make an appointment for, completed! Kudos to Mrs Bynes, her coworker Mr. Arana, and the rest of the staff at this office! Keep up the excellent work and very friendly and welcoming service!

    Want to say Mrs shauna did a fabulous job of helping to get my adopted sonu2018s Social Security card with only two documents that I only had just fabulous her attitude was very calming. Than to say the officers that was there Angela curry and David durpervil was pleasant of greeting and helping the us as well! Especially when you have a crying two year old they really helped with keeping him occupied while I was getting his Ss! Itu2019s not often you get help from other people and they did it just amazing!     So I am told to call the SSA office to obtain a certificate of creditable insurance form. I do so today and on hold for 25 minutes. When the lady answers the phone I tell her what I want. She asks what it is for and I tell her. She hangs up on me. Really! What a joke! What a waste of my money that pays her salary! And there are people who want the government to run our health care system. God help us.

    This is by far the worst agency. A so called supervisor Ms. Hodge just does not care. I have left her 5 voicemails with zero call backs. Whatu2019s the point in having an outgoing message. I blame her for the hardships she has created. I have contacted my attorney regarding legal action. Because of this office and Hodge I have no insurance. All for a Part B card. She and this office can go to hell.

    Iu2019ve called an uncountable amount of times, theyu2019ve answered 4 times, first 3 times you could barely listen to what they say, but careful if you say theyu2019re cutting off a little they say u201coh you canu2019t hear me sou2026u201d and hang up on you, they leave you waiting for 30min just to hang up on you, Iu2019ve been to the offices twice but you canu2019t really do nothing because they wonu2019t let you in without an appointment and the only way to make an appointment is to call, WHAT?! So I call again, I can barely listen, but avoided saying I couldnu2019t listen at all, the lady that answered wasnu2019t from the palm beach office SO she couldnu2019t make an appointment because she didnu2019t have access to the calendar, all she could do was send an email to them for them to call me, yeah, thatu2019s not gonna happen. So yea NEVER in mi life Iu2019ve had an experience like this, WORST costumer service EVER

    I was put on hold for an 45 minutes then when they finally decided to pick up the phone they kept switching me to different people leaving me on hold so I ended up being on the phone with them for an hour and 48 minutes.. and at the end I was just gonna ask for an apology for the hold and I got the phone hanged up on me.. moral of the story is stop having patience for people who donu2019t respect you

    A representative answered after a 30min hold time to sayCan you please hold?I am paying attention to the clock at this point. It 3:08pm. They close at 4:00pm. I asked twice if someone was there due to here failing to come back on the line. After a few mins she saysyes im here waiting on my computer.3:48pm the phone hung up. I called back to be on hold until the last few minutes before close. Long story short. I asked about paperwork that needed to b uploaded and she asked for my ssn. Never verified a thing. Only saidNo.I asked how did she know if she never confirmed it was in fact the correct account. She said there was no need to do that. I then tried to ask some basic questions and she stated I need an appointment and they were about to close. If that was the real case she couldve stated that she didnt want to do her job. She tried telling me it will take 45-60 days when my casr is expedited and falls under different guidlines. But she wouldve known that had she taken the time to actually open my case file. Tbh writing the review is a waste. They continue to not fix the problem of unprofessionalism and tax dollars keep paying for the rude workers. P.S.- NO ONE TOLD EITHER ONE OF THEM TO GO WORK THERE if they knew they didn't like to work with the public. But hey, im wasting my time writing a review that doesnt matter just like to report to work for nothing.

    My father called to verify a fax was received and was told it would take 30-45 days to process. Except that wasnu2019t the question he asked. Then he tried to clarify that it was in fact received, and the guy repeated the u201cabout 30-45 daysu201d and hung up in his face. If you donu2019t like your job and canu2019t answer a simple question like a human being, then quit. These are older people. Some that donu2019t have children to follow up and help them. Ignorance is unhelpful.

    I filled out the forms on line, got a letter back and email acknowledging what I did. Was very easy. Got a call back requesting further documentation. Dropped it at the SS office. All done quickly, professionally. Cannot be more pleased with the service. Get a tablet and do everything on line, marvelous!

    I just got off the phone with someone trying to find out when my documents are being returned to me. The person I talked to literally just kept repeating my documents will be sent to me theyu2019ll be sent to me. Theyu2019ll be coming certified mail and after I said ok but he hung up on me. I do not deserve to be treated this way. My replacement card was delivered two weeks ago and I still have no documents I just want to know what is going on. I did not deserve any of that.nnUpdate: I called back to try and speak with someone else and when I explained what happened I was hung up on AGAIN.

    It's honestly astonishing how useless this office is. How are they going to remain closed for over SIX MONTHS, with this completely inadequate phone system? People need their SS cards for pretty important reasons, but it's impossible to get through to anyone. I got married in March 2020, and have every couple months I try to make an appointment to no avail. The only time I've actually been able to talk to a person, she said I need to send my ID, birth certificate, and marriage license through the MAIL. Why the hell would I send important documents through the mail, especially here? So many reviews here say they were without their critical documents for months. How can these people expect us to drive around without our license for months? Completely useless. Florida man strikes again.

    I was gonna give 1 star, was on the phone 1hr spoke with two people who were rude and not helpful at all. But I was lucky enough this morning to get to speak with Joe and thank god finally someone knows how to get the job done! It just shows itu2019s not the problem itself itu2019s most of people answering calls are not willing to resolve it or even know what they are doing!

    I sent out all of my information needed to get my new social security card with my new last name and itu2019s been 3 months they havenu2019t sent me anything. I just called today and the were giving excuses about immigration that they donu2019t take Social security card status. I told them why immigration I donu2019t need that all I want to know is the status of my Card thatu2019s all and they hung me up in my face they are so disrespectful and I do not recommend any one to send out anything on this location office. .! I wasted my time sending out my drivers Licence which I wasnu2019t comfortable with it and still Iu2019ve been waiting and nothing. This is a horrible Location.

    This office provides the worst customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been trying to get benefits since March that are rightfully due me. I have gotten a run-around and have been treated very rudely. Example, this office lost documents that were delivered there in person. I was subsequently told it was my fault because the receiving agent did not provide their name. Phone calls are not returned, even from supervisors. Calls are repeatedly cut off. An agent hung up on me (after waiting 45 minutes) when I requested their name. And no, I was not rude or disrespectful to them. If you have any other option than to deal with this office, take it.

    5 months ago, due to Covid, I mailed in my marriage certificate, application and ID to the SSA office so I could change my last name. In 2 months, they mailed back the documents without a new SS card. I've called the office on Clematis repeatedly. Holding for 45 minutes just for them to disconnect. Accoring to Google they open at 9am. According to the absurdly long recording they're open 8am-7pm. I call them today at 9:15am the recording said the office is currently closed. Why? If a business says 9am, where are the employees? And why is our tax dollars getting waisted? Where is my damn Social Security card? It not rocket science to type a new last name to a card and mail it back out. I've been waiting since August.

    Customer service was superb. If you can get an appointment, it takes about 2 months, I highly recommend it. Call mid month, it's easier to get through. Those who had no appointment were in a long line outside. I was taken right on time. Make sure you have all the necessary forms they ask you for and it will go smoothly. Craig was knowledgeable, thorough and patient with my questions. Facility appears new and is very clean. Parking was only $3.00 and is right across the street.

    Cannot reach anyone LIVE on phone, when I do I get misinformed. I need to go in person to get my daughters social security card bc she was born abroad, but office has been closed going on 6-months, due to COVID. How is this not an essential service? A waste of our tax dollars for sure. This office needs to REOPEN immediately or better yet CLOSE completely and start over with entire new staff and management.     What frustration! Since March trying to get my social security to work and all the offices closed, website and nothing is the same, calling the offices is useless. And when you get a job interview and you're all set to start working, I never received the blessed social security card ... we can only take a deep breath and wait! ???     The over the phone experience is horrific. They give no update on status of what you need. Word for word tell you u201cthis is your problem not mineu201d. What kind of service are we getting from our local government office?! Not only do you call for 2 weeks and no one picks up but when they do your on hold for 20 mins and get no answer but yet such response. I am disappointed and disgusted! Which there was a way to file a former complaint but Iu2019m sure they will do nothing about it!
