When you call and answer there rude questions they hang up on you, when you go over there with your son who is special needs you wait and show patience, but the office worker have no patience and will throw you out. Other people who wait with you are nice, but the rest is a disaster. I called now and the person said her name is Caren, she hang up again because I gave answer, she has wrong information on file, and she didnu2019t want to fix it, so I requested to speak to her supervisor, but she hang up. It is not right to handle a situation where you are wrong with yelling at me and twisting words. I hope someone can really make a change there . That would be helpful !

I waited for three hours on the phone and no one answered. Then I had to go to work so I had to drop the call. They need to hire more telephone receptionists.

After ready reviews about the Kissimmee Social Security Office I was afraid of long lines and hours of waiting!! On the contrary it was a wonderful experience!! Yes there was a line outside but a nice gentleman came out asked if anyone had a appointment? Thank a God I did he took us in pointed out a seat for me . I checked in and waited 15 minutes then I was called in by Miss Brown . She was wonderful very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and set me up with my Social Security Benefits. To all the complaining people all you have to do is make an appointment!!

Unfortunately this is the best the US government can do. So if you do not have an appointment you will wait outside in line for wellnOver an hour. Then when you walk in, you wait in a smaller line to use the automatic ticket machine. Youu2019re told to then take a seat. You wait an additional hour, to then go to a window. After your information is confirmed, youu2019re instructed to have a seat and wait until called. Two to three additional hours later you are finally called again to meet with a case worker. You speak to a rep, conduct your business and either leave or have to return with other documents at a later date. The entire process from start to finish was nearly 5.5hrs. for us.

the customer experience is nothing short of unresponsive. I have had a refund due me for more than a year. I have the name of the case manager to whom i have spoken to once and have left 19 messages for. Her voice mail says she will return the call but it never happens. The thought of having to go back there and sit in that acting room for hours is unimaginable.

New to area so had to go to my nearest office to resolve a horrible problem although not in general the outcome I'd hoped for employee & supervisor did a great job at helping my situation but it came with big prices and one was an almost 4 hour wait with 4 small kids. Stood for about 3 hours thankfully my kids are so great not a single complain or even cry from my baby but did see others with babies struggling. I'd give more stars if it wouldn't have been so many hours but overall very pleased with compassionate employees that helped me.

Poor quality of service in regards to telephone appointments. A telephone appointment had been assigned to have a rep call on a certain day and time. No one ever called. Instead applicant has to call SS office to indicate and ask why weren't they called for their appointed telephone appointment. So then the telephone appointment is rescheduled for the next day. And still SS office does not call applicant for the appointed time. What's wrong with these people? There are too many applicants and not enough workers to do the application with. Something needs to be done to correct this.

Horrible horrible experience!! Representative Miss Florez just continuously repeated over and over again the same sentence instead of just being courteous and looking into the information that we were asking for. I wish I can get a job like this so I can care less and work less. Disgusting the attitudes that these people give and the lack of care

I made an appointment using the 800 number and the person I spoke with at the national call center used the wrong social security number to setup my appointment. I contacted the social security call center back a few weeks later to confirm the appointment and was told there was no appointment listed for me at the Kissimmee office. I requested another appointment be made and was told that they couldn't do that at that time. I was furious!! When I didn't show up for the appointment at the scheduled time, Mrs. V from the Kissimmee office contacted me asking if she could assist me. Mrs. V took all my information and scheduled an appointment for the next day so that I could submit the documents needed for my application. I was very impressed by the customer service that Mrs. V provided.

The best office ever! The staff are extremely helpful, compassionate and efficient. The security guard is a diplomat when dealing with the public. In regards to the waiting period I noticed it is according to the volume of clients and their needs. I would hope that all government agencies are as well managed as the kissimme Social Security Office. Thank you for your service.

So I don't know a whole lot about customer service and helpfulness because I only got to the front door. Just putting this here to help others, but do NOT go if you are trying to get your NAME CHANGED or a REPLACEMENT social security card!!!! They do NOT offer these services here. You have to go to the Orlando office. A guard at the door told me and was very helpful and nice about it, but apparently one lady was standing in line outside (yes the line was out the door!) and found this out only after being there for 20 minutes and was extremely frustrated. The Orlando office offers all services, but this location does not. Look online for what you need before going!

Went for a scheduled appt they decided to close for the day. Gave me another appt. Said too many appts scheduled that day. Rescheduled me phone appt. called me half hour late. Did NOT send my benefits this month and I have called them all afternoon four hours waiting on hold only to be hung up on after each wait. So the government has a problem with this office. I hope my benefits are coming soon as I am in need of food and medicine and by November 1 RENT.

After my hospitalization on November 18th, 2016 due to Anemia with blood levels of 6.4 and 2 bags of blood transfusions, I decided to change my life. I was slowlyu00a0making changes before hand,u00a0 especially after I realized that applying for Social Security Disability due to being dizzy, unable to see properly, and having to crawl on all fours because I didn't have the physical strength to stand on two, wasn't enough to get my application for application approved. I have a degree that I was doing fine in until aforemention signs & symptoms started to take affect at the age of 22, which closely relates to this review, but I would need a book to explain in details. Since my bleeding on a monthly basis from the age of 12, with barely any strength to walk upright and a H&H level of 6.4, wasn't enough to be approved for disability and the fluid and electrolytes that my husband and I have to keep track of since I vomit multiple times during these days when I'm alreadyu00a0weak and already bleeding out the life blood that God has placed in my body...

Most of the time my issue is resolved.. As written- most of the time.nBut the last time i spoke to social security. Unfortunately it wasnt very pleasant.nNot only do you wait over 45min to be answered, but you are also spoken to with additude and unprofessionalism.n....if you work, answering phone calls, to people then you are providing customer care over all! So remind yourself to be humble, and compassionate.. Or find another job title! Duh

I have disability, however was charged for overpayment. I was told they will set up repayment and never got the letter. I left voice message for cynthia Torres. I never got the call back. Is this how our government serve us? Oh. I made an appointment to talk to them thru writing or typing. This Kissimmee office needs to change their system. Orlando system is so big however social security want me to attend to this office because I live in Kissimmee. Their service sucks. They dont care about waive your overpyament. You paid social security taxes to help other, it has nothing to do to pay ur overpayment nor retirement.

This place is horrible no room for people to sit. They open when they want not at the time it said on the door. The guard does his best to keep people quiet and not ghetto. Wait time is way to long but at least the lady that i spoke whit last time i was there was a sweetheart and helped me greatly. If the stars were for the service the lady gave me they would be 5 for her. But not the place in general.
    Marie Carrasquillo
I would give this place no stars because it was a terrible service and totally unprofessional! The employees and security guards were so rude! When they called my number, my husband and I walked to the office A and there was no seat so I told my husband to get me a seat because Iu2019m pregnant and my feet hurts from standing too long so they refused to give me a seat so I walked to the office E where there was a man sitting with a chair which is available next to him and asked him if I can have it so he gave me the chair. I took it and I moved it to office A and a Spanish woman employee were yelling at me that I canu2019t take a chair and the security guard took my chair which is so rude.. he called me fat and my mother was so angry and he told her to calm down when my mom was standing for what is wrong in this kind of situation. I suggest you people do NOT go there! Go to SS office in Orlando and they are so friendly!
    Jossie Rivera
Very poor service they are not nice they let wait outside for more than hour and the sun hitting on you. Seniors, pregnant woman, kids with disabilities wating long periods of time outside. Then you make another line inside to be assisted. Not fun at all i got sun burn. They should fix this problem we are human beings and we need to be treated well.

To start with I want say I'm changing my review. The first one I wrote was as hard as possible with honest truth. But now after a % of our issues were fixed. So I'll just say they can have a little more compassion for others. There's still something I think needs fixed but that's ok for now. They did what they think is correct. I will research online to see if there's anything else I can do. If not this will be all I can say. Good luck, research online with SSA.GOV, and be patient with everything else. Have a Merry Christmas and happy New Year....

Nightmare, most people in this office have no heart and compassion for people with disability and will look for any non existing reason to cut ssi checks. My mother is disable and I help her as much as I can and someone had the nerve to say I need to take my mom to live with me so that way she wont need a check. Are you kidding me? I went well inform with guidelines printed from the ssi website and it pissed them off. They work there so they should know what they are doing beforemessing up people's check. Wait time is horrible as well!
    Ryan Williamson
Waste of time can't even do the main function of their office. If you need a replacement social security card they will be happy to hand you a paper that gives you another office across town. Worthless.

The security guard has no compassion for children with disabilities. My son has autism and was looking at his tablet, if anyone knows about autism - they are developmentally delayed . He asked if I could turn my sons tablet down because other people said it was to loud. I am aware it was to loud and proceeded to turn it down. I displayed the action of my son turning it back up.nnJust have compassion - elderly people are not the only people with disabilities. It doesn't say no electronics in the facility like it says no food or water. It wasn't my cell phone or my music - it was my son watching educational cartoons, which assist in keeping him from overloading from big crowds and environments.
    Kevin Sherwood
Surprisingly efficient and friendly! I'm impressed. I showed up 1 minute after opening and the place was full. I waited 50 minutes for my turn. I spoke to 3 different employees each was friendly, professional and I easily understood their
