I applied for my social security retirement benefits over 6 weeks ago and received a Message that it would only take 3 to 4 weeks. I called the FWB office and Ms McGee had it all taken care of in about 5 minutes. She was so helpful and pleasant.
    Kat Sheedy
Incredibly unprofessional. I was told to contact someone and this office via letter and she seemed upset that I bothered contacting her. I had to go through reception to even reach her in the first place. The call quality was also very poor so it was difficult to understand what she was saying.nnApplying for benefits is needlessly complicated and tedious enough without dealing with rude and unprofessional employees. I have already left a scathing review on the official Social Security website. This experience has made me less likely to even attempt applying for benefits in the future, which is perhaps their intent.

Excellent customer service on the phone, very prompt and courteous. Can not service due my Pensacola residence, but answered my questions anyways (The Pensacola office is AWOL). Fort Walton office was so helpful.

Today, I arrived at 9:27am. I was in and out in 16 minutes with 2 people being helped at the windows and two people waiting ahead of me! This is the fastest Iu2019ve ever experienced with any SS Office. Friendly staff and guard. Thank you!

After struggling and getting the run around for days with the Pensacola SSA office I called this office and in a 5 minute call had all the answers I needed. I'll be doing all my work through this office in the future... Pensacola is a wreck.

I have had ongoing issues with the SS main office not processing things correctly. I was referred to the FWB office to do an interview. I was told when called by the FWB office that the person doing the interviews was working at home this month. The specialist stated he would put the package together and send it to this person but check back middle of the month if nothing was received. To say I was skeptical is an understatement. Well today 15 June I received my paperwork back and all was correct. This was a great job by the local FWB office getting all this straightened out which has been on going since Dec 16. Thank you the effort much appreciated.

It's nice to be diagnosed with aspergers/autism that includes other types of mental disabilities and yet I'm found to be magically cured and with my SS on the line. I can't survive without that help. I can do well enough mostly on my own with it, but without I will go back to the horrible homeless life I had before. It was awful and my disability/s made it severely difficult to get anywhere. With SS life finally kinda turned normal ... aside from all the harassment including my recent saying my aspergers is magically cured along with everything else. There are some things this particular office has gotten right, but this is FAR from it.

I have gone to the office on Racetrack many times and it runs smoothly and efficiently! I have dealt with some of the same people who have assisted me and they are always professional, proficient and friendly. So glad to have this office nearby!

Tried to call for my husband that's a veteran. And house bound. The robot hangs up I never hear a ring. Its ridiculous. It's like they don't care about our service members. Maybe answer a phone call.

The phone was answered in 5 mins. I had my answer in 7 mins. You can't get faster, accurate service from a govt agency.

I have never been here before, we walked in and immidiatly the security officer greeted us, and helped point us in the right direction on where to sign in. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes with only 2 people working.

Added more information for my Disability claim and it seems like it was not added to my claim. Office lied about sending in information to be added to my claim

Extremely rude after a very long wait. Of course, not like you really have much choice. Use the online portal if you can.
