I called this branch to check on the status of my clients' social security cards. The person I spoke to just kept telling me to call back next week if they still hadn't received their cards but wouldn't give me any information on whether their applications were approved or whether cards were actually sent.nThen I called the national SSA call center instead, and they promptly looked up my clients' accounts and confirmed that the cards were sent and on what date. This was all I needed! No thanks to the Bradenton branch.

She took her time with me and once my needs where meet she then took the time to help a friend resolve her problems right after!! She went above and beyond!! Thank you so much ALEXANDRA!! You are amazing!!!

Matt is a true asset to this office. He helped me solve my issue quickly, with a wonderful attitude. He made me feel like I was the most important person he had spoken to all day. I appreciate all he did.

Spoke with Bryce via phone ( office not open due to covid ) a couple of times. Conversations were lengthy due to amount of info needed. Bryce was extremely helpful. Was able to quickly answer my questions and offer options. He resolved my issues in a matter of a few days and followed up with a final call. So impressed by Bryce's professionalism. Thank you Bryce.

I experienced a problem with the awful Comerica bank withholding my monthly funds since May 27 until today June 15 . Mrs McDowell went far and above helping me successfully deal with these incompetents. She is a very special, professional person with a wonderful attitude.

Security guy was nice and it was easy to get what I needed done. But drop box is inside the locked doors so nobody can drop anything off after 4 pm.

I went to this office shortly after my husband passed away. It was busy . Arrived at approximately 3:30 pm . I had to wait a half hour however the lady that i saw couldnt have been more pleasant & extremely helpful. She was compassionate with me having to report his passing & applying for Widow benefits. She even worked over time for me. I will never forget my experience . She made a mandatory sad issue into a pleasant one . I'll always be grateful . this was in October 2017.

I was just pleasantly surprised. I had to go here in order to apply for a replacement card. There about 50 people waiting for their number to be called, I was disappointed when I saw that. I got my number and I was surprised at the 12 minute wait for my number to be called. Upon seating myself at the window, I had an amazingly nice government worker assisting me with my needs. He was friendly, chatty, had a positive vibe going, just wow!!! I was in and out with services met in under 30 minutes at a government office. Okay then, I love me some surprises :)

Expect to wait about 1 hr when coming here. We had to stand for at least 30 minutes due to all the seats being taken. The security guard was very nice and helpful and doing a great job. He made sure when 2 seats came open that we got them as we had been standing the longest.nnThe lady behind the window helping us was nice. We were there to get 1 replacement social security card and for them to verify my ID and get me online access to my account.nnShe helped us about 20 minutes, and made sure I had computer access before we left. So all went well. Just plan 1-2 hrs for getting things done here. The replacement card should arrive in our mailbox in about 7-10 days.

First off, I came here to look at the reviews before I went to the office. I saw parking problems, Long waits, and rude staff. I was already behind the 8 ball since it was noon. But My license was about to expire and I needed a replacement SS Card to get it. Sigh... So I got to the office, and tons of parking, and across the street from a home depot with about 1000 parking spots. OK Not sure where the other reviewers were so that is false, Get inside and the security guard points to the machine at the door and tells me to check in and get a number. The office was about 1/2 full and I was thinking I was going to be there all day. In less than 3 min my number was called. I looked around confused. Then went to the room and sat down to a friendly staff member and was done in about 5 min. As I left the guard was polite and I think said have a good day, I was just so excited to be in and out in less than 10 min. Amazing!

once I was the last one in the office. They forgot I was there. The officer at the door had to go in the back and let the know someone was still there Plus they take forever and a day. Need more seats.nnPlan to spend the whole time day there. if you get lucky maybe an hour. but usually its like 3-4 hours they don't go in order. no rhyme or reason to it even if you have an appointment There is one lady that is bald.practically she is very rude.

Quick drop off & security guard was a great help.

It was easy and the soul-suckage was kept to a minimum. They have a great setup and while parking may be tough, there were plenty of spaces when I got there on a Thursday right around noon. The queue system is great and keeps people organized. Really a much more pleasant experience than I had back in 2004, the last time I needed to talk to someone at the SSA.
    Heather Underwood
It wasn't that bad, I was in and out in an hour and the lady who helped me was extremely nice. The parking is horrible though, and I'd get there by 9:30am otherwise you might have to wait at least a solid hour or two. Also watch how long the other people are taking in your letter group on the tickets, that will determine your wait too.

Very, very, very slow. The only way to make these ladies and gentleman work faster would be to pay them per person, instead of their hourly wage. I am watching a bunch of them just chit chat back there. Nice to see my tax dollars being placed to good use.

After a not very good experience with a number of telephone calls, I finally got with Jeanette from our Bradenton local office made appointmeThanknt for the following day. She took care the things needed and I was on my way less than 15 mins. She was courteous and pleasant both on phone and at the office. Thank you Jeanette for making up for my past experiences.

This place is so hard to deal with. It is very frustrating waiting on hold for 20 minutes and being hung up on. So when you call again and wait 25 minutes again. You get a hang up one more time... just to let you know how much you are appreciated.
    Victor Pontbriand
Hate that place. And lately I've had to go multiple times. I did not enjoy the experience. I found out the hard way that they close at noon on Wednesdays and only open till 3 rest of the time. Nice work if ya can get it huh? Trillions in taxes, billions and billions in foreign aid but cant have decent hours for regular people. I know the refugees have no problem.

My experience in this office was HORRIBLE. I had to wait for more than two hours. I was with my two year old and my six year old, you can't feed them, they can't raise their voices, you can't sit by the door, on and on I can go. On top of that the security guard told me I had to leave the office twice because my two year old was to loud. My question for them is, what do you expect if I can't entertain them with anything, they can't eat, and I try making it better by sitting as far as I could from the people (by the door) and I was scold too!!!! OOOH and let me not forget when I got to the window I needed an ID for a two year old or that my insurance had his name on it, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! it was one of my worse days in a government office hands down.

Claims person Mr. Fields has helped me so much. Helped me understand the why and why not. He was real, didn't just push me off. I wasnt expecting this at all compared to some that I had contact with. None were bad, Mr. Fields was great though. I thank you.
    gaurav dhamsania
Its a place that is slower than the DMV. But service is great once you get to talk to someone. People are nice and give you their full attention. Which now that I think of, may be the reason for long wait time.
    Richard
My mother went to this location and was treated like a common criminal. The representatives were rude, one gentleman jumped out of his seat to berate my mother because she wasn't dealing with the lady's attitude, and even had security behind her like she was violent and a threat. Everyone there needs to be fired.

I wisely set an appointment. I still felt like I was in the afterlife waiting room in Beetlejuice. If you have to bring your child(ren) pack things for them to occupy them and keep quiet.
    Giovanni Cipriani
They are very slow an worry about taking breaks than helping people . i was their at 8:30 am to get a replacement social security card by noon still wasn't helped ended up leaving . the security guy they is rude also
    Wendy Matias
Rude employees and they speak to people in a condescending manner. No privacy everyone hears your business. The security guard at the door was nice.
    Bryant Hardnett
I've been waiting 7 months for a payment when it wasn't suppose to take more than 90 days for me to get. I don't understand the hold up so I'm aggravated at this point and wondering if the money I was relying on is even worth it
    Margarett Lewis
They really do talk to you with attitudes they be rolling their head's with one nasty, nasty attitude they need to fire everything in the Bradenton office that's young and middle age the elders are such sweet heart's except for one she also has a very nasty personality about herself and the worker's they be don't turn in your paper's and thing's nor put your information in the system I turn in some form's sense august I call the toll free number the lady told me the last form's they received was last in June..
    Debbie Buehler

    Danny Johnson
The representative and even the security guard are very professional and always go above and beyond the recognize needs of the patrons.
    Kay Bass
I was just there to get a replacement card for my child and the rep was so rude.i waited an hour to be treated terrible and to think i pay her paycheck, she works for us, the public, and if I was a rude person I would have told her that, but i bit my tongue and got out of that awful place
