I have been trying to reach someone since October. They do NOT answer the phone. I called the main 800 SSA number only to be told I must call my town office. They wouldn't listen to me when I said mine won't answer. It's disappointing I can't do a name change anywhere but at New Castle.

When you call a public office and they say we are too busy call later EVERYTIME you try to call THERE IS A PROBLEM!!! These people are paid for by MY taxes as well as everyone on this review/complaint page. Something needs done SO DO IT!!!

Good thing about this office is you can get an appointment. Bad thing is they donu2019t know how to file the paperwork.nSo donu2019t waste your time hear, even thou we pay for them already donu2019t expect anything in return. More tax money wasted.

Don't bothering trying to call them, they keep you on hold for an hour and then hang up. I have called 5 times trying to get information to change my name and this keeps happening! Worst experience I have ever had!
