The staff were very helpful albeit not everyone completed tasks as promised. However, the system was done and I think they do the best they can. I did get a lovely lady (thank you Shari) who was able to complete my file in an expedient manner. I was impressed with her willingness to accommodate my urgent request for an approval letter to complete a mortgage transaction.

The Greeley Office is by far the least helpful place I've ever encountered. I was hung up on once by a staff member and when I called back, the lady was beyond rude. She told me to MAIL my drivers' license to their office and expected me to go without it for nearly two weeks even though the SSA.gov website clearly statesDo not mail sensitive documents, such as drivers' license, etc. You're better off going to a different branch even though it's a longer drive.

Showed up. Waited for 45 minutes for my turn. The woman was useless. She 1 st said she had to figure out how to charge me for service. She left window for over 5 minutes to tell me to go try on line! If they are only going to have 3 employees please at least have ones that will do their job. Get ride of the ones that aren't helping and referring people to the web.

I have been dealing with a case and Everytime you call your on hold for a long time. Call the extension of a case worker that is taking care of your case never get a hold of that person but voice box and never get a call back. I figured if there is a specific case worker then that's someone you should beable to deal with through the whole process. When leaving a message you have to leave you ssin which seems very unsafe as I don't know who is in the other side listening to that person voice box specially seems that person doesn't call back. I understand busy but there has got to be a better way of dealing with everything.

I called the Greeley Social Security office this morning. My call was answered after a very brief hold. Maria Lena assisited me. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She was most helpful, polite and considerate. Thank you Maria Lena!! - I am a very satisfied customer.

BEYOND RUDE and not helpful. When trying to get help today, the woman who was supposed to be helping me gave me incorrect information, spoke down to me, would not transfer me to someone else, and when I asked for her name, she hung up on me.

Greeley office is not linked in with the main office. The people are rude!!! The main social security sends me papers, told me that since I made more money in 2020 then my other jobs, they had to adjust my ssi and disability. I called the main number and a gentleman by the name of Zack explained to me why I had this extra money in my account. Today I got something from the Greeley office and it states that I have to pay back the money that was adjusted. I've been fighting with the Greeley office for a yr now. I'm sick and tired of their lack of professionalism. If this does not get fixed I'll be getting a lawyer.

SinceCovidand theworkingfrom home option - service is getting worse and worse - I called 3 times this am. Each time I held for the many taped messages to route and re-route my call invitations to please go online - (don't bother us) scam alerts, etc. Then waited a long time to - Please wait your call will be answered in the order it was received - 15 -20 minutes each time. Finally the prompt for a employee - and a terminal hold with no sound like the employee had the line on mute. Three times? Words can't express my response.

I called the office to resolve an issue I've had since changing my address / account information, and spoke to the rudest lady I've ever encountered. I had previously spoken to another lady whom works for the SSI office two weeks prior who tried her best to help with my situation & was told to call back if I was still having problems, which was the reason for today's call. The lady was extremely impatient while I was trying to explain my reasoning for calling, and kept cutting me off, then proceeded to start huffing & puffing, sayingoh my god. When I told her she was being extremely rude & asked for her name to make a complaint, she hung up on me. I am completely beside myself with the way that I was treated. This is the 1st time I've ever made a complaint.

Never answer their phones. I've left numerous messages for the past two months, and no one calls me back. Applied for my SS Benefits in March, expecting to see it May 1, and nothing has been deposited. National social security said it was still in processing and needing manual input. Anyone know who I can contact outside the Greeley office that could help me?

They actually don't even deserve a star the Greeley office customer service is completely rude and don't help at all!!!! I think my 10 year old has more respect and knowledge then the people that answer the phones there please someone tell me how I get to someone higher because honestly they're no help and I'm tired of calling and getting no where!
    Julie Callahan
The help I received was above the best...My documents were returned within a week and I received my new SS card in less than ten days later. I was impressed with the service and am very grateful.

Very rude and unprofessional! I got hung up on, I asked for the ladies name who i was speaking with and she refused to give it to me. Im trying to get my daughter a new social security and was trying to explain to her it is illegal to drive without a license and im not waiting 3 weeks for them to hold onto my ID because they cannot take a photocopy. Asked how i can obtain a medical record from somewhere we only went to once since we moved away and she said oh well we cant help you then and hung up. Now calling back and she will not answer the phone. Would give 0 stars if possible. This lady in the front needs to be fired.

Called to make appointment with in person. Call keeps getting cut off. The website doesn't help with our issue.
    Mouayid Yessoufou
They are ignorant and unprofessional! The mailed my Original document to the wrong adresse ! I called several times to let them know the right address! I have talked to different people all the time about the same issue . They would put the right adresse down and promise to give me a call back, well they never did and when I called again ,I would be repeating myself about the same issue and it seems like every time I called and hung up they just forget about it right away . they keep resending it to the wrong address after the post office returned it back to them many times ! What do you call that ? I canu2019t afford to loose those original documents and if only I could, I would sue them. I fear that they lost my stuffs .nItu2019s been 4 months now back and forth and I still donu2019t have my documents .
    Codie Tart
I cant believe something so confidential as a ss card was sent to the wrong address. They had the audacity to say it was mine and the post offices fault and they weren't responsible. It's too bad we are forced to work with them.
    Cassidee Garbowsky
I called today to get some information regarding obtaining a social security number for my son and the appropriate documentation. Due to covid-19 I'm not able to go to the office in person. From the moment the representative answered the phone she was completely rude to me, like it was such a bother for her to do her job. She literally just kept reciting information in a snarky tone and then literally hung up on me. I am still in shock at what an unpleasant experience that was. At a time when most everyone is thankful for what they have, including their job since so many have lost theirs, all I can say is there has got to be someone out there more deserving then this woman.
    Jodi Reed
I had to call in today with my mom to switch her direct deposit to a new account. The lady was the rudest, snarkiest person Iu2019ve ever had the displeasure of speaking with. Condescending & snarky donu2019t come close to describing what this woman was. There is NO need to speak to people they way she spoke, especially to the elderly. Then she proceeded to hang up on us. I will be calling in tomorrow to speak to a supervisor. She is a disgrace to the social security administration.

Someone needs to clean up the Greeley customer service office an hire new people they answer so unprofessional and don't even know their own jobs can't get anywhere with these rude people!!! Honestly a waste of time

The day I went I waited for almost two hours, and when it was my turn they told me their system was down. They took my application for my name change and said theyu2019d process it as soon as their system was back up. Fast forward 3 months, I still havenu2019t received my new card or heard anything from them. I went to the Fort Collins location instead, barely had to wait and when the person looked into the status of my name change, they saw that the person from Greeley never actually did it. Loved the Fort Collins location, will never go back to the greeley one.
    Anne Drobnitch
Fabulous! Super! For two days, I tried that main office and I was on hold for over an hour and then the call got cut off both times. On the third day, I called the local office, and a very cordial agent picked up the call within two minutes (even during a busy time), and answered my question immediately! They have always been great when I have gone into the office location, too!
    Stephanie M
Record your phone call and DON'T send your passport!!! I was required to send my passport and my son's passport to get a copy of my child's SS Card and never got them back. They informed me that no one is responsible for checking them in or out of the office and they won't pay to replace them!nYou can escalate issues directly through Social Security. They need the office location and your name and phone number.

Mr. Silva is one of the most rudest individuals I have ever worked with in any customer interactions. He refused initially to allow me to speak to a supervisor and was extremely condescending. The previous employee michelle was equally as rude multiple weeks ago and intentionally did not process my paperwork. Ive been dealing with social security for over a decade and never before experienced such a horrible group of people to deal with. They are typically professional and pleasant. This is the only office Id like to avoid at all costs to avoid mistakes or laziness.
    Jennifer Ellis
Employees working from home have figured out they can pretend they don't hear you, hang up, and not have to do any actual work from home. This happened consistently, with several different voices, after several times waiting with the automated system. Lazy.
    Laura McMeyler
Went in on Monday around 11:00 am, and had no waiting time. Sent to window #2 down the hall, and was greeted by Melissa. She answered all our questions, provided documentation of Social Security income, as well as helped in getting the My Account steps done for our online access. All in all spent about ten minutes and it was a delightful experience. Thank you, Melissa!!
