I had great experience last 2 months ago. The person who helped me was very nice and guided me steps by steps to complete paperwork.nI called again this morning for the information and the person who helped me was super super rude. She didnu2019t even introduce herself. During conversation, she just said simple words and expected me to understand and gave her the information such as u201cnameu201d for full name, u201cnumberu201d for SSN and DOB, etc. ud83dude21ud83dude21

Excellent experience here. I am really reluctant to go there but have to. However, this SS office is really impressed. I think it might be moved to new location (2nd floor of the building), the whole environment is open and bright. Very organized. Security guards show you how to line up and also remind me some window called my number when I browsed my cell. And check-in lady explained me all details clearly and told me why they only work half day on Wednesday, etc. I got everything done within 20 minutes with happy conversation. It was really nice experience.

I had a pleasant experience with them. They told me what to do and what would happen and when. I followed their instructions and everything happened exactly the way they said it would. The only thing is it is difficult to reach them on the phone, so I figured you need to call them around noon when they are not as busy.

Relatively fast service. In and out in about an hour for a replacement social security card, if you have all necessary documents and proof of identity. I'm sure appointments are faster. I would definitely recommend setting up an appointment if you are taking care of anything else besides social security card related business. All in all a good experience.

This is my second time to visit this office, the first time was totally fine, but this time I got upset because one of the officer has a horrible attitude, she is not willing to help at all, and even not willing to answer questions! Shame on her.

This office is terrible. The staff there think they are the god! My conversation with them was through a phone call. I was supposed to get a call from them at 11 but waited and waited. They didn't follow the appointment time. Finally, a woman called and were very rule to me and don't let me talk. She just ordered me to do this and that. I want to explain my situation a little bit more. However, she didn't give me a chance. She cut off me. My tax money was wasted on these bad employees.

The worst one yet. Been waiting since 10:11 AM. It is now 1:03 PM, and we have NOT been called. We have beennext in linefor over 2 hours. They leave to lunch, knowing they have a shitload of people waiting to be assisted. I am PISSED, and am trying to refrain from cursing to release all this aggravation. This place makes people aggravated from lack of order and assistance. I have nothing nice to say about this place. It SUCKS.

Horrible service, the security guard at the entrance has an horrible attitude, like if we were asking for free stuff. Long line just to register and longer wait at the waiting room. They don't understand that if they are working here is because because we pay our taxes.

They donu2019t call numbers in order... I feel like my tax dollars are being wasted... they have 27 windows and only seven are operating... AND the lobby is full!! Get better bureaucracy, federal government!

They called from the office. The rep was extremely rude and I was helping to answer generic questions for my mother but told me I couldn't answer even when I'm her authorized representative. I handle paperwork and medical affairs all the time. When they asked her a question she isn't familiar with, they belittled her and threatened federal punishment. Just because you've been given authority and access to private information does not allow you to be rude to the elderly, especial when English is still their second language and they're unfamiliar with certain things, especially when as representative handles them.

Terrible service.nDo not go here if you want to be treat as a person. The stuff like a dog to kick me out just because I got the number and went to the wrong window and nobody want to help me or talk to me. I have class whole week and not too much time to wait anymore. It took me 1.5 hour to wait and get nothing. I feel I was treated like an animal!nI tried to complaint them but wait online for 30 min nobody answer!nThen I went to Pomona ssn office. It's smaller but sweeter. I arrived in11:50. Waiting in front of the window for 6 min and just took out of my notebook for studying, then it was my number!!! Only 5 minutes!!! And the officer was very nice and patience. I finished all I need document in 30 min total. ~nAnywhere is better then here

There is limited parking, the building is not that visible but there is legible signs that guide you, they have security guards making sure everything is in order, there is 24 windows for customer service. Good organized way to accomadate evety ones needs, evry issue is diffrent so it will vary , the concept of the etablishment is good is clean bathrooms are clean as well

horrible service ever!!! I went in this morning to ask if they can check whether I have had pending application or not. when I told them I just got EAD card 7 days ago. They did not even ask me to show my EAD to check. they just said I need to wait at least 30 days. It is weird because USCIS says it does not take later than 7 days after EAD approved. and in this case I just wanna check if I have pending application to make sure USCIS applied for me SSN. they just ignored me for any reason they have. lazy workers ever!

I've been to SSA on the corner of Wilshire Blvd & Wilton Pl, 90010; and 6th St & Grand Ave, 90071. Both were staffed by 3 or 4 armed (guns, not batons!) security guards, which reflects the potentially dangerous psyche of the people who visit these locations. I've observed homeless people who appear to suffer from the consequential damage of crack cocaine (or years of alcohol abuse) loitering outside (or near) these two locations. The West Covina SSA is in a safe area, which is why there's only one armed guard on duty. It was about 1400 hours (2pm) late Friday when I visited to get a printout of my SS benefit. Got my number, sat down expecting at least a u00bd-hour wait, but my number was called 5 minutes later, and I didn't have an appointment u203c The entrance is on the south wall of building near Goodwill Thrift store, occupying the entire 2nd floor. If not for the sign on the building, it's easy to miss. There's a Pep Boys on the north end of the building and a Big-O Tires across the street, so if your car needs service or you need to buy tires, then this SSA is the ideal location to leave your car for service while visiting SSA. If you have tag-along family members, they can shop at Dollar Tree or the Goodwill Thrift; or go bowling at Brunswick Lanes (next building further south on Vincent) while you're at SSA.
