I think these people that work for SSA in susanville CA have either lost their minds or they have no idea how to enter something as simple as a address into their system. And because of that they have suspended my benefits for over 2 months. How do you live without income. They stopped it then restarted it then stopped it again. Send me letters stating they would call me at --- there's no number listed that they were to call me on. Making no sense to me. And after over 85 hours on the phone in November 21 still no benefits. What's really going on???

The place is a joke. Everyone who works there should be fired. Iu2019ve been dealing with them for over 3 months and still havenu2019t received my daughters ss number. They keep promising theyu2019ll process it and mail it out but for whatever reason it doesnu2019t get done and they donu2019t keep their word. Sick of dealing with these horrible people.

First time going to this office earlier today and I had a wonderful experience. Iu2019ve never been able to say that about my previous experiences dealing with SSI. Iu2019ve been physically disabled since birth (wheelchair user) and my payment didnu2019t arrive this month due to an address change that I hadnu2019t updated yet. My boyfriend drove me an hour and a half to this office and I thought for sure that it would be a fiasco as it always is. We were both blown away at how polite and helpful everyone was. I donu2019t remember his name, but I was helped by a guy with full sleeve tattoos and he was so helpful and quick. Literally hands down the best experience Iu2019ve ever had when dealing with SSI. He not only got my info updated so I can get paid finally, but he also filled me in on a lot of info that nobody had bothered to tell me before. Iu2019m used to dealing with people who hate there job and are rude from the beginning, but he was super cool and very polite and understanding. I was very impressed with how nice everyone seemed to be. Definitely recommend this office.

Although, they may have not been well versed in my particular situation, they tried to find out the answers to my questions. The wait time was reasonable, & they were very friendly!

Super friendly staff. Wait time is not too long either. Not bad for a Government Building. A good rating deserved.
