Finally got through to an employee after getting the u201cbusyu201d signal multiple days in a row. NO APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED. Masks are required but they give you one if you donu2019t have one. I was in and out in less than 10 mins.

Have had to call back 6 times, no pick up on one, multiple times I got the busy signal, then I was told voice-mail box is full and got hung up on. No response no pick up no help. How are we supposed to make an appointment to go in if we can't reach any workers. This is ridiculous.

I called the Needles, CA Social Security office and finally got to talk to a representative after being hung up on by the Nevada location three times. The representative there at Needles was very nice and helpful. Thank you so much!

Rude and unaccommodating towards a disabled elderly veteran. The door says M-F, they are closed on Monday. The phone number listed on the front door does not work. There is no sign displaying that the office is closed on Monday. Their reaction to Covid is hysterical, like a child afraid of monsters under the bed. More hinder than help. So frustrating and impolite ten years just fell off my lifespan. I cannot legally say the things I'm thinking.

on the way moving here my brothers social card got stolen we went in because it said they could do it online I have waited 3 hours on the phone until closing for them only to tell me its closed to call back tomorrow tried calling numerous time went there in person but you need an appointment so you have to call but you cant call to make an appointment sounds like a loop hole so they don't have to deal with customers

The SSA is incompetent. Over a year and they can't manage to even provide a social security card. 28 plus calls just to get through to somebody who doesn't know anything. U.S. Government at its finest.

I called today (Thursday, 12-10-2020, 9:45am). The recording says the office is open Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. Then the recording goes on to say they are currently closed. Whatu2019s up with that? I can leave a message if I know the extension number of the person I need to contact. Sheesh!!

Super fast and efficient! Thought I would wait in line- but was taken right in and helped with a smile!

Hours say they are open, doors are locked, and the phone number doesn't connect to anything. If they can't do their job then they don't need that job. Simple as that.

I have a medical condition and severe anxiety, so i was unable to go in. There is a very nice man who works there that accommodated my husband and i and treated us graciously. He came out to our vehicle to confirm my identity for the name change. Only had about a half hour wait. Quick service and nice staff.

This place sucks I'd give it 0 star if I could . I've called Thursday November 7,2019 waited 50 mins then they hung up on me. Called a second time and they hung up on me. Called Monday January 27,2020 from 9:00am to 11:00am and waited the entire time just to get hung up on. This is unprofessional.

The staff were very well organized and very professional without being rude. They were extremely helpful with the kiosk and with answering any questions. It made an uncomfortable situation much easier.

Misinformation from the same individual each time who keeps changing the story and oddly remembers people who have to come and do what they have been told to do by other workers here Iu2019ve called over the phone and got wrong Information every time according to this man so either train your employees properly or assess this situation and figure out if this particular employee is just simply racist and giving a hard time to those who arenu2019t of his ethnicity

Intimidating clients is unethical and unprofessional. Telling anyone who claims they are homeless, that you ( Jennifer ) will require they check in weekly or risk the loss of their benefits should be investigated. There are no bylaws that state that a beneficient is prohibited from moving, or traveling within or out of their home state, city, or county. The fact that a beneficiate may be homeless does not suggest that they reside in one location majority of the time. Im appalled that the head director for SSA would condone such unprofessionalism. My hope is that if there are others who are experiencing the same, that they too make it known. Needles is very small town. Crossing state lines is very common especially when the majority of the citys residents must travel there for basic necessities, or to even get away. We live in a free society. We are free to roam. Your threats are absolutely unjustified.
