I'm confused. In October 2021, I faxed forms and documentation to Gilroy S.S. office. The first week in December 2021, I called the Gilroy office and confirmed that they indeed received my fax. They checked their computer system and confirmed all was received. (As was required for a Life Changing Event). On January 16th, 2022 - Medicare B took $740.00 out from my disability check.nJanuary 17, 2022, I again called SS Administration in Gilroy and I was told they did not receive any (fax) from me in 2021. AGAIN, I must resubmit/fax documents because one-on-one in-person appointments are only for new Medicare members. My 2021 fax confirmation sheet does not qualify as proof.nWhat's going on?

So frustrated with this office. Since Feb 2020 Iu2019ve been trying to get my daughters SSN and after 3 attempts and I am no further on June 29 than I was in February . My documents have been lost by either them or USPS. ud83dude29 I spoke to people on the phone, followed instructions and Still find out that my application isnu2019t being processed only after I called to follow up. I received items back with no cover letter or explanation as to anything missing so I assumed it was being processed only to find out it wasnu2019t when I called the office. Iu2019ve even had to correct them on their own procedures after they told me I needed to be seen in person for my request (and they arenu2019t seeing anyone in person now). I looked it up on the website And for my situation I could mail my items in, which they later agreed on.nnI understand the madness during the COVID shutdown the social security is an essential service and things NEED to get taken care of period.

I am so relieved that I went to the Gilroy SSA office. I've been there twice recently and I've been there last year also. Each time has been a positive experience. This time I had a very complicated issue that could easily have been brushed aside as it was elsewhere. However; the employee that served me took my problem on and promised to look into it. And she did! A few days later she phoned me and told me everything is corrected and resolved. Thank you! I would send flowers, but thought it better to do this public review. Five Stars for courtesy, attention, professionalism and follow through. And another five stars for the security officer who greeted everyone equally and was helpful and friendly.

social security is very unprofessional my husband and I have been going through the run around for the last 11 months 2 months ago my husband was told to send a spend down of our income. we spend two weeks on gathering all the receipts to things we bought down to all the purchases from stores. I am a person that keeps all receipts something my mom always told me u never know whats going to come bite u in the butt. so i gathered everything. individually stapled high lighted and totaled.our spending was a very large amount but the amount we had received was shown & proven with the receipts. now 2 months later say they never received it and my husband walked it into there office. what a shame we just bought a house and etc. and now have no income to pay our expenses. he is permentantlly disablenby doctors. well I can go on about the misfortune that we have struggled so I will leave it at that but I we will continue to fight for what is right

zero stars the workers are liars and they mess you up. on purpose they loose your check stubbs even if you walk them in. they dont do their job by checking things out they say you are entitled to money then they send you a letter saying they want it back how is that my fault do your jobs then nothing like that happens to good people who are trying to survive. all they could tell me is you can send check or debit or credit cards and if you call in they say they can help you over the phone but they DO NOT HELP OVER THE PHONE IT WILL NOT BE NOTED THAT YOU EVEN CALLED. WE ARE PAYING TAX MONEY FOR THEM TO HIRE PEOPLE TO SCREW YOU OVER. I WAS LIED TO I GOT NO HELP WHEN I ASKED. THE ONLY THING I WISH I DID RIGHT AT THE BEGINING WAS RECORDED ALLLL OUR CONVERSATIONS BECAUSE NOW IM SCREWED OVER. AND ALL THEY CAN SAY IS I CAN MAKE PAYMENTS. I HAVE A LIST OF WORKERS I SPOKE WITH AND NONE OF THEM HANDLED MY CASE. THIS OFFICE NEEDS TO HIRE PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT THE HECK THEY ARE DOING.
