The building is upstairs, just in case you were not aware of that fact. Line seemed to move rather quickly.

Waited for someone in this office to pickup my call for 45mins on the phone, finally someone picked it up and after giving the information she needed from me (around 30secs on the phone) my call was dropped! I donu2019t know if itu2019s intentionally dropped or what but it totally wasted my time. Tried to call them again a hundred times but no one answers. Unreliable service!

Not helpful, do not return calls...they act like they are bothered with your questions. It's amazing to me that a government agency can flat not return voicemails when THEY called you for information. Just disgusting.

Waited about 40 minutes and I had an appointment. Rep was VERY short and rude. This was my first time filing for SS. Well, on my second trip there, found out my paperwork was lost. They even inferred that I never was there to begin with. Had to reapply. Took 2 to 21/2 hours for agent to help. I felt like a criminal and was disgusted with the whole thing.

I called the main SSA number & after being on hold for 35 minutes then call being dropped, I called my local (Suisun) office. The customer service agent answered right away, after being verified, and was very helpful! Completed my business within 5 minutes. Thank you!

Not to happy that no office in the United States is open. But they can take our money.. my sister has an emergency and needed a new SS card to get state help.. yet they want to fill a form mail it in with your ID.. this should be unacceptable ppl!

Went there today. Closed due to covid. They need to say that on the website so folks don't adjust there day to come there for nothing. Website says open.

To fellow Fairfield-Suisun inhabitants, keep in mind government and, most especially, federal employees are very very hard to get rid of once hired. They have some of the best job security, and it takes a lot of processing, paperwork, and green checks to effectively fire somebody for not doing their job well. What does this mean for you? It means that they can treat you how they wish and do whatever they want and get away with it. Ouch. This is always why you use a yes sir and yes ma'am here if you want an easy time. That said, it doesn't make bad service right. They're supposed to service the public. I've been to many social security offices, and this one is pretty terrible. I know who I'm dealing with, so I take steps to make sure I get good service. However, SS offices in Texas always went way above and beyond to assist my concerns and they never left out any important details that forced me to come back. Their SS offices make this one look like poop. Where's your standards, Fairfield-Suisun SS?

If you are POLITE, PATIENT, RESPECTFUL, and go in there knowing what you want and whay you need to bring, this place is very pleasant.nnGet there early. Really early. I got there 20 minutes early and the hallway/stairs were full of people in line. I got in and out in an hour. If you get there after they open expect to be there 2+ hours.nnPeople I spoke to there were very nice. Leaps and bounds better than any dmv I've ever been to.

Everything worked out ok and they know what they are doing (at least in my case). A couple of things. 1 there is no privacy. The protection barrier makes it so you have to shout out your personal information of issues. The personal touch is not part of the process. They start talking to me the customer, then in the middle of our conversation start a conversation with a person sitting next to them(very impersonal) no eye contact. With the barrier this makes it even more difficult. Probably a tedious job so I feel for them... but it would help to work on these issues. Try doing some roll playing practice session with the staff. I guarantee you will see it from the customers view. Thank you.

They request you get a ticket number and they skip around. I checked in as per security officer and had A5 and they skipped my number just around from Bu00d7u00d7, Au00d7u00d7 then went to A13 back A3. It was a hot mess. I asked if I could make an appointment and was told tof call a 1800 number and was told good luck. ud83dude11 I definitely would give zero stars if I could.

Vallejo SS dept does not have employee s that know what they are doing..every problem takes 4 to 5 trips there to figure it out..it has been two months and my daughter does not have her checks still. I seriously hate that place. The workers truly don't know how to do their job..I just don't know what to do . No one has the time to make trip after trip and call after call.

After reading some of the negative reviews here I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. The guy who helped me couldn't have been nicer and answer all my questions where I could understand them and explain things to me. There was a bit of a wait but I'd have waited twice as long considering the service they gave me.

Total and absolute incompetence. Rude and nasty people who lose your paperwork and then BLAME YOU. I have written 2 letters of complaint to the SSA and am awaiting a response.nEven the security officer is in cahoots with the so calledprofessionalofficers when he stands behind you in order to listen in on a complaint about his friend when you go there to file a letter in defense of yourself.nPitiful!nI hope they close this one down and find people with at least a pulse to deal with..

The blonde lady behind the counter today said u201che doesnu2019t look like he needs government assistance to meu201d to her co worker when referring to me. I donu2019t know if itu2019s because Iu2019m fat or itu2019s because of what I was wearing but I feel that was uncalled for
