Horrible office.nCalled to get appointment twice to get social security number. They mentioned that there is a waitlist and that they will call back later. However, they never called.nEach phone call took more than 30 minutes to pick up.nWasted 2 weeks just trying to get an appointment.

Reads OPEN but turned away from Security Guard, even though i just wanted to DROP OFF papers. Guard said to make an appointment, waited 2 Hours online with no answer went to P.O. and mailed for $7.95 to be received the next day. Don't go there!!

Very helpful in that they are communicative about issues, call back when they say they will. But, I mailed them my certified original document and they sent it back in a cheap folder that ripped when mailed back. They didn't put anyfragilestickers, just sent it back in a basic manila envelope. They refuse to compensate because itdidn't happen on their property. But they left me no choice but to mail since walkins are unavailable. Absolutely upset at their uncaring for my original document.

Was very please w/the process. Went on a Thursday at around noon checked in and was given a number. I was only there five minutes at most, when I was called. Whole process took 30 minutes.I did have an appointment, so I assume that helps. Also, my suggestion to those who wish to reduce the time that they spend here is bring as much of the documentation they request w/you as possible, It will definitely make the whole process less painfully.... - Tammy Anderson

I went in with no appointment, at 3:30pm and on a Friday. it was a half full waiting room. so I thought I was gonna be there till 6pm. HOWEVER, the security guards pointed me to the touch screen, self check in, and were shouting the names or numbers being called out to ensure people where hearing them called ( which sounds annoying, but I get how frustrating it would be to miss your call). Generally it was Very helpful especially since there was a rush or calls at the end. I personally didn't have time to finish filling out my Social security card Replacement Form, because I had been called up so quickly. I was helped by a MR. Wood, who was done with my paperwork and was incredibly helpful and even asked questions about if it was for employment (which it was, and I had forgotten to ask if it would work for an employment opportunity) so he provided it with a stamp to verify the date to assist me further. I was so impressed by the quick and thoroughly comprehensive service by Mr. wood and the friendly assistance from the security guards. I Would not mind having to go back to this office if needed. I don't intend to unless necessary but it definitely would not be a dreaded trip. Say in comparison to the Pain of the DMV, or to the bureaucracy and mind numbing boredom of the Emergency room ( yes I listed the places to their descriptions correctly).nSo thank you again Mr. Wood, and the security guards that worked 10-27-2017, and Social Security Office for being a government service that finally gets How to be efficient.nnif you have a bad visit, maybe you should double check what you need to bring FIRST or be over prepared to answer possible questions designed to keep people from screwing you over, and help keep the service from having to go slow and extract your info that you should have ready and on hand.nnBy the way I walked in at 3:30 and left exactly at 4pm. when I left the waiting room was near empty. So props. to all staff that day, sorry I don't know your names.

The security guard was very rude in Anaheim office .Our appointment was 9:15 we wait for 20 mins hot outside

This was a horrible experience. The clerk was rude, hostile and discriminatory. In addition the security guards were obnoxious and out of line. Yelling interfering and violating privacy. I have been going there for years, and while clerks have been rude before, never like this one. The security guards have never behaved like this in all the years i have gone there. They are from paragon security and I will be filing complaints with their supervisors and going to court if necessary. I have already filed an initial complaint with Soc Security and will be going to the justice dept and an attorney. There is something very wrong at this office beyond the usual bureaucratic dysfunction.

I almost defaulted to rating 1 star because, hey, it's the SS office. The guards are super nice. If you visit multiple times they'll greet you. The workers are nice too but some can be seen clearly distraught and you wonder why they took the job if they can't even act like human beings with any decency.

Outstanding! I arrived 30 min before opening and there were already about 40 people ahead of me. Even with the crowd, the people were kind and swift.nnI recommend going in the morning. By the afternoon, the workers are probably worn out by the many attitudes they've received during the day. This is probably why there are less than satisfied reviews.

I made a appointment, they didnt let me in. Then told me it was for a different day. I'm sure it was for the day i went. They have a bad attitude.

I like this office cuz it's clean and twice that I've been, it's not over crowded. The agent (B. Canales) that helped me was very professional, explained everything clearly and had me read what she had prepared from asking me all the necessary informations before she finalized my papers. I was so happy to have her and asked if I could ask to see her everytime I make an appointment to go to the office. Unfortunately, she said, it's not a lifetime that you see or ask for the same agent all the timeud83dude1e.

My father was told to go to the social security office after he got his first retirement check. He goes in and gives all of his information. The woman who assisted him made notes and was completely unhelpful mind you he's been waiting hours. My father is a Vietnam vetran and has a tendency to speak very loudly because he can't hear himself. He says several times a security officer would yell at the old people telling them to listen up. Acting as though they were inconveniencing him. Eventually, fed up he asked to see the notes and to speak to a supervisor. He was denied this right. Only after my father asked to see a supervisor A SECURITY GUARD handcuffed my father for talking and taunted him in a private room. He stood so that way the camera could only see my father and would make whispering sounds trying to disprove that he was hard of hearing. Is this how you treat veterans who were in active combat? Is this what America stands for? An old man paying $100 fine for being old and talking to loud? I'm absolutely disgusted and CANNOT wait to bring this to court. It just shows how pathetically run our government is. These people served and worked for a long time the least they could do is treat them with respect. Handcuffing and taunting a veteran is just so low.

I was expecting a terrible experience here and to the contrary received a great one. The wait was surprisingly fast. The worker that I met with was knowledgeable and answered all questions. I recommend this office.

Horrible treatment to people. Is there a way to file a claim and accuse a worker for being rude and racist? .... I want to report a Hispanic young lady for her poor performance and un-professionalism, if she hates her job why doesn't she quit? i bet there are other people who need a job and be more professional and take this job more SERIOUS!!!!

Every time, I receive professional and courteous service from the S.S. employees.nIt is worth the wait of about 45 minutes, until your number is called.nI highly recommend this location in Anaheim, CA.

I went for the first time and the SECURITY GARDS ARE DISRESPECTFUL for any reason they like to nag. I went with my kids and they complain about going out to much and told me to stay in or stay out when i only had done it twice. My children were watching my phone and apparently it was loud and asked to put it away. The restroom smelled disgusting !!! The workers otherwise are really helpful but SECURITY has to take a chill pill

Horrible power tripping secerty gaurds here. They are rude, condescending and patronizing. After waiting for hours here they refused to let my grandma drink water. Avoid this place if at all possible. Becarefull what you say and do here, the gaurds carry guns and look like they want to use them.

I think this people are great they get you in and out they don't mess around. the security gaurd is very nice man. And don't ask him no question cause he don't know nothen. It says on the t.v. and they have it posted it up. N e whoo. Turn down your cell phones and no talking on the phone. And if you don't want your purses checked leave them at home. Rules and security purposes also holds up the line.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the wait time is typically good even if you donu2019t have an appointment.
    Monika Kennedy
The right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing. They are working on my case, I have been getting disability benefits for years, they can't figure that out. The workers here are incompetent and stupid, and rude.

They say Government Service is poor, but I received the worst!!! I phoned about 15-20 minutes before closing and the representative put me on hold to check on something but never came back. At exactly closing time (4pm), I was disconnected??? I guess the representative needed to get ready to go home for the day!
