The lady, and I use that term loosely named Stephanie is so rude I really donu2019t understand how she has a job!!! She was no help and talking to people the way she does is not acceptable. This was @ the Sherwood location. Called the Little Rock office and got exactly what that Stephanie monster said she couldnu2019t do!!!!! If that incompetent monster doesnu2019t want to do here job, wich is to help people, please remove here miserable presence. And hire someone is there to help and assist the public and not for a paycheck!!!! Stephanie IS A HORRIBLE PERSON!!!!!!! I will skip the Sherwood location, and go to a more equipped and PROFESSIONAL location!!!!!

Got an appointment letter in the mail telling me to come to the office. I showed up at the office with 3 other people. We were all standing outside waiting on the office to open. We all noticed that nobody was coming to the door. One woman called and was told that nobody was at the office and that appointments are done by phone. I went ahead and called myself. They told me that the letter had a typo. I asked why they didnu2019t send another letter in the mail for their mistakes.. so here are 4 people all with the same letter that have disabilities exposing to each other during the pandemic. One lady woke up at 3am to take her husband to work so that she could have the car to show up at her appointment . The other lady came from a 40 minute drive. There was an elderly guy with his wife. There I was that had to get my mom to take off work for me to show up. Everyone here wasted gas/time and my mom took a day off work losing money from her paycheck. Due to a typo. All they said was sorry. Are they really sorry? Doubt it!!! Its a government office and they donu2019t care.

The SS office has been closed due to the virus outbreak so you can only do online or mail in requests for a copy of your card if you need it. Unfortunately the SS website is horrible in creating an account - if you accidentally enter in the wrong info you get locked out for 24 hrs. I have called to speak with someone locally a couple times & the second time I spoke to Oscar who was so nice and really tried to help. But the online system still wont work for me. So I will have to mail in my info which you have to send in your actual Drivers License. Establishments such as the SS office really could benefit to have more people like Oscar though. Thanks!

I should have money or something! My ex's have left me behind having children. Why should they have but I don't? Life isn't fair. I'm supposed to struggle and do hard work... At least my paycheck is paying my premiums that they have been deducting for the past 6 months at $150 a month. I didn't know what I was going to do if they kept on doing that. I can't find a apartment due to a prejudice eviction. But my ex is supposed to question me to get back with her and take care of her kids which none are by me... I might ask for a dollar or two but I'm not living off nobody's child support! Better choose the father wisely. I have no obligations!

I had an extremely negative experience with this office while trying to changed my name today. Since they are closed due to COVID, I had to call and the man who answered the phone was extremely rude. When I asked about changing my name, he informed me that I needed to print off an application, then mail in the application, my marriage license, and my drivers license. I asked him if I could send a photo or a copy of my license because I need my license to drive. He responded in a very condescending tone of voice and said u201cdid you not hear me when I said we need your license?u201d I told him that that seemed unreasonable because I need my drivers license for so many other things. Then, he hung up on me. This employee deserves to be fired and replace with someone who actually cares. I hope that this review makes its way to his boss, and that this call was recorded. The call was 7/23/20 at 1:26 pm.

I went in at 9:00 for help to sign up for Medicare. I am ADHD. I have a very hard time reading and comprehending what I read. It was Wednesday and I didnu2019t know they closed at 12:00. I was the last one out the door that day but with the help of a very knowledgeable and kind woman I was finished. I received my Medicare card with in a shot period of time. Thank God for her patients!

CARELESS. This has been my second time coming to the social security office in Sherwood and for the second time they have gotten my address wrong when i clearly , stated it correctly to them. It was imperative that i had my social security card to handle important business , but because of their careless actions and unprofessionalism they have managed to make me wait an overall extra 30 days to receive my social security card. Not to mention that when calling their office they will keep you on hold for at least an 35 minutes . Which is a very long time for such a small office .

I understand the 1 star reviews. It just so happens that I apparently went on a good day. Of course it sucks that I had to take off work because neither SSA's are open after I get off work Monday - Friday at 5PM. I went as soon as they opened, and of course other people did as well.nIt was a wait, but I only waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes and I was prepared to wait so I took things to study. I seated myself and it was near friendly people who liked to talk, so that helped time go by as well. As soon as I was called, it took 10 minutes at most and I was greeted by a really sweet man that liked to crack dad jokes. He began by asking me how I was and asked what I was there for. He apologized several times for the wait, but I said I understood. I was there for a name change due to my marriage and he asked how I met my husband and everything. Sweet guy and made the wait even more worth it. I was at work by 11am (I commute 20 miles a day) and continued with a good day.nnThings happen, and people can be rude. I was just lucky to have someone that was kind and attentive. My new SSC arrived in the mail today and I was just there last Thursday on April 12th, 2018! I'm very happy.nI wish they didn't close so early on Wednesday's. That is kind of inconvenient.nnMy score is from my experience as a whole and it was my first time there.

Always on hold far too long. They need more employees answering their phones. My payee is withholding my funds and I need money ASAP, they donu2019t seem to care about that. Poor service, they do things on their own time. So not right.

I went in expecting the worse, and the waiting area was full, but I just needed to get a social security card and I waited maybe 18 mins before having my number called. The woman who helped me was very nice and professional. It was a quick painless process.

I have had the displeasure of coming to this office and dealing with some of the most ignorant/incompetent SSA agents I've ever encountered. Mind you I was doing business at the LR location with no issues prior to being transferred to this one. I took my sister to report someone for stealing her money but the ding bat at the window just sat there and said it was nothing he could do. Well for one you can start by doing your JOB!!! I had to ask for a supervisor (Ms. Morrison) who did DO something about it and she was very very helpful to me and my sister. About every time I come in here I have to ask for the Supervisor because the reps at the window are useless!

Very unprofessional. I called and got a answer on the first try and when i explained what happened but couldn't hear what the man was saying , he hung up on me . Now nobody is answering , i would love to speak with the boss . I would hate to have to go up there ...

I was trying to call them for days, no one is picking up the phone. I suspect nobody is working there.

My mother who can barely walk let alone work went in here to apply for disability. The employee she got stuck with was so lousy. When my mother went to sit down at the employees window the employee actually told her to hold on because she didnt want my mom to get too comfortable. She wouldn't allow her to sit down, she wouldn't hear anything my mom had to say. She was a lousy example of an employee and horrible at her job. My mom left in tears with no idea of what to do and felt completely hopeless. It was awful. Pure example of a person who hates their job and just wants to get through the day. Would not recommend anybody to go to this office because the employee we got stuck with didn't give a rats behind about anything and was incapable of showing human courtesy. Go elsewhere people.

Had to sit over an hour just to order my daughter a ss replacement card. It's Absolutely ridiculous!! Numerous working stations empty yet there are over 20 people in waiting area.nSuggestion would be to have someone specifically set aside to handle those customers coming in just to order cards...Geesh!!

Worse service ever. Window employee didn't even know how to assist with my request to just change my name to match my birth certificate. It was so bad that they didn't even know that Puerto Rico is a territory of US and asked me for my citizenship or US passport. Thanks to Miss Morrison that knows very well her job that assisted us after going for second time there with other documents that were not even necessary. Three other employees didn't even know what to do. Thank you Miss Morrison for assisting me and my wife. If I was going to rate Miss Morrison I will give her 10 stars but the others I'm still thinking if they deserve a 1 star review.

It was great, fast & friendly. People may complain but consider it is small but try going to one in Phoenix and you wait hours. Be grateful for what you have. Loved it and the people were really nice. Thanks.

Save yourself the hassle of incompetent employees ... drive to Conway office, it's worth the drive.nThis office is half ass everything they do, they make you wait hours to see anyone unless your the fortunate people that have letters in front of the numbers. As for the rest, employees are not cross trained to do anything, so expect incompetence and at least multiple visiting to get whatever you need corrected
    Robert Galvin
Unprofessional and disorganized. Iu2019ve waited for over a month for my driveru2019s license to be returned to me in the mail and I still havenu2019t received it back yet. The employees are so rude and inconsiderate, they will not answer your questions or assist you in any way.

Not open for business. No help to get replacement SSI card. Referred me to use the ssa website that is denying me access. Told me I have to mail my only form of identification and not a copy.

Kashanna Jones , she is by far not in the right line of work she is sarcastically rude and needs to learn how to treat people or get out of this line of work !
    Jeannie Roberts
I have worked thru this office several times and have always had an awesome experience.nYes, if no appointment you must wait but it's like that all over.nI was there last week without an appointment and moved thru to see a representative within an hour....But I was there early in the morning!!!
    Sandra Cox
The entire SSA sucks! I started online and for 67 years my middle initial was E.. No SS says it's invalid and I got locked out. You can't talk to a hot body on the phone and I don't have all day to sit at an office because I have a full time job so in my hu.mble opinion, nothing works at Soc. Sec. This customer service is beyond nil.!!!
    Andy Long
I've had nothing but wonderful treatment at the Sherwood Office. One of the representatives went out of her way. She was at the office working, and took the time to call me and let me know my disability was approved. Seems like all the bad review were from people the office couldn't help to their satisfaction.
    Leonidas
Wow! They are Horrible! They will hang up on you even after Ive called back asking to speak to someone that wasn't in a rush to get me off the phone. This is how Social Security in Sherwood treats Wounded Warriors. Still cant seem to get through to anyone else except the same guy that keeps hanging up on me. Would like to speak to his boss.
    Nichole Strawser
Worst office ever! I went to the office on my lunch break and sat for an hour for the number to only move 4 places! I ask for an appointment when I have to leave and am told to wait my turn or call. So I leave and call for an appointment and get hung up on after 16 minutes on hold! I just need to change my name, its not that difficult!
    Lamonte Boyd
