As a full-time working single mother, I do not have time to be on hold for an hour to an hour and a half only to have the folks who answer speak rudely to me; I have worked customer service jobs and I understand how taxing and stressful it can be; I am not the previous customers that they were speaking to, so the attitude I've been given countless times is uncalled for. I have enough stress going on as it is, and this is how polite customers lose their patience with the representatives that they are speaking to. I have bitten my tongue with them far too much with them.

First off, a recording apologizing for the call before it ever goes through is UNFORGIVABLE! Is this the best we have to offer? Check my callsu2026 I have been on hold for 6 hours in the past 2 days. Please contract out with Chewy to perform these services on behalf of the taxpayers!

I don't usually do business with the Fayetteville AR Social Security Office. Most of the time the people are rude and impolite. But today I got the sweetest and kindest young lady. It was fantastic.

Called twice today and both times I sat on the phone for 15 minutes both times after someone answered. They didnu2019t say anything. I could hear them typing, talking to someone else and coughing. Not a single word to me during either call.

Good place to come change your social security card or do anything related. Itu2019s normally busy but the wait wasnu2019t too too long. Security guard is nice. But wish you could bring a water inside. You canu2019t bring in food or water at all. People behind windows are nice and helpful as long as you come prepared. Recommend having an appointment.

After waiting on hold for a very long time I was told that despite this being a federal office they have no clue about my paperwork that was submitted over 90 days ago, then hung up on me. The Lebanon office was very helpful.

    R. Anderson took care of us today. We had an appointment. There was a line before 9:00 we had to stand in but moved fast and we got to a window within 10 minutes of getting through the line. Mr. Anderson was very patient, friendly and courteous. Very thorough questions and allowed us to stop if we had questions. Seemed as human and compassionate as job will allow and not just like a robot moving through items. This was much appreciated. Also guard in lobby helps by announcing procedure and what to do in a friendly way. So far, all in all a great experience.

They are some of the most rude and incompetent people I have ever met.

Inferior service!nnI provided the original documents for receiving social security. On the same day, literally in half an hour, I received them back in a sealed envelope to promise that I will receive the social security in 10-12 days.nnBut two weeks later, I received a notification that I did not provide the original documents!!!nI have a sealed envelope with a number confirming that the documents were accepted and reviewed. I want to believe that the social security office will fix their mistakes and provide the requested document in 2020.

The service in the office is good but the guard in the front is a very rude and irespectful person he yells and doesnu2019t have the right actitud.

No one ever expects a pleasant experience when dealing with any government agency. Thankfully , I was surprised and impressed. The office is clean and quiet. The officer was quite pleasant and Ms.Martha was quick, friendly, professional and efficient. I was in and out in 10 minutes with my issue handled.

I had to mail all of my original documents in during the COVID Crisis. I did this as a Certified envelope because of course it was ALL the originals and I was scared to death of them loosing them. But they lost all my documents anyway. The post office has pictures and info backing the package was indeed delivered to the correct address so where is my package?nThe employees at this SS office donu2019t call you back and have yet to find my documents Still. I have been calling daily several times a day for 14 business days!!! The lady that did actually take the time to speak to me has found out nothing other than we donu2019t know. REALLY! Is this acceptable?!?nIu2019m just disgusted! Thanks for loosing mine and my husbands DL birth certificates and adoption degrees! No BIGGY!!!!
