They say they are open at 9 but yet they donu2019t answer the phone. The phone number on the door has had a busy signal since 9 am and it is 10:24 and Iu2019m still sitting here trying to get in touch with someone because I have things that I have to do and they require me to have my name changed on my social security card I cannot even get an appointment to be able to do this because Boone is answering the phone. This is ridiculous and it shouldnu2019t be this hard to get access to legal documents that are NEEDED. Figure out a better way to conduct business because this is NOT it.

The lady who answers the phone is extremely aggressive and argumentative. She will hang up on you when youu2019re trying to explain your situation without listening or attending to meet your needs. Very unprofessional and disrespectful, I couldnu2019t believe I was really treated that way! Just wow.

The ladfy that answers the phone is unfriendly and unhelpful I had legally changed my name 11 years ago and the actual Social Security never had an issue with it And when I called because im very unhappy with my payee , she said that I needed to come in and show her my identification card and she was rude.

They lock the door, and don't attend you without an appointment . They request for you to call the number and the phones been busy for over two hours. Good luck getting any service.

The lady that answers the phone here is rude and disrespectful. She talks to you like your nothing and she is not helpful. People like this don't deserve to have a job to talk to people like their dogs. Hopefully they can get someone with better and polite customer service.

I wish I could give them a 0. Worse experiences ever dealing with the representatives at this location. After the turned off my sons benefits without telling me for a whole month they told me I had to choose a new payee, I made my husband the on July 9 they still hadn't so called cleared it until today and we still have to wait another 10 days. This is in addition to them playing around last year with my late sons benefits and Medicaid. If it wasn't for the cost of their medications and medical bill's it wouldnt even be worth it

Long wait times and rude security guard. I was trying to quietly make a phone call and he comes running up telling me i can't be on my phone. As loud as everyone was talking I seriously doubt my phone call would have bothered anyone.nnUpdate: today the guard came up to me as I was taking a picture of a phone number on a poster on the wall and saidAre you taking a picture?Me-Yes, of this phone number, would you like to see the picture?I was polite by the way. Him-No it's ok but normally I don't let people take pictures in here.I didn't say anything else then left because that was all I needed. This guard needs to be retrained and told to calm down a little. But nothing will be done since this is a government facility.

I didnu2019t have to wait long (maybe 15 minutes). The process was simple and quick (10 minutes). The employees were helpful and friendly.

This will be the third time I've had to go to the S.S. Office for a name change. Apparently, even when you hand them a legal doc. from a judge with your name on it, they still can't get it right.
