I called three times today, two calls never went through and just hang up on itself after I was on for a good 20 mins on each call waiting for an agent. Third call, there was an Agent who answered but the minute I spoke to him, he hung up too. What is going on here? I can't even go in because of Pandemic and need an appointment to even come to this place. Big Disappointment!

Calls are met with persistentRepresentative are busymessages, unending hold loops, silence (not sure if it's a hold or ?) and disconnects.nnThe staff has always been professional (quite the feat considering the stressed-out folks they work with) but I've spent countless hours trying to reach them with little success.

Good luck getting anywhere with this office. You aren't allowed to go in to the office. They want you to send your original driver's license and other documents through the mail. Ridiculous.

The receptionist 'Joshua' should get a new job.nKept sighing, yawning and cutting me off as well as giving me an attitude over simple questions and treating me like I was stupid.nI've never had such an awful experience.nI am mentally ill with half a page of problems including severe phone anxiety and his actions made me have a breakdown and cry.

I visited the office with a family friend to help with her disabled childs benefits. I was insulted and disrespected 3-4 times so we gathered our papers and left.nI went back the next day to file a complaint. I spoke with the office manager. I would say we had a good conversation, he knew I was upset. He took no notes during our conversation, but said he would do an investigation.nI'm hoping he follows through.

Although I had to wait on the phone awhile to make my appointment, I was delighted with the service I received at the office. My appointment was exactly on time. Mike took me through the entire Medicare sign up process, answered all of my questions very clearly, politely, and knowledgeably. He then answered my specific questions about Social Security. He's a gem.

I just called to set up an appointment to start my social security payments and the representative was very helpful. She provided me with a preliminary estimate of benefits, including spousal benefits, and allayed my fears about completing the process on-line and through a future phone appointment with another claims representative, which will save us a lot of drive time for an in-person appointment.

The woman I talked to in the office was extremely rude and condescending! She wasn't helpful at all and told me to call the State for more information. I've been warned about going to the rapids office before and now I know first hand never to go there again. After calling the state and being directed back to Social Security, I called the Wausau location and talked with a very nice lady that gave me a few answers and directed me to someone else there that could help further.

Told me they had no record of my case or judgement. Even though I had a favorable decision from the judge and I was given this number by my attorney to call them to set up my information. They do not seem they want to help anyone.

Very professional agent helped me apply for a dependentu2019s socialsecuritycard. Another citizen was grumpy, but the armed guard dealt with him professionally. You will get professional treatment according to how you behave here.

They make you jump through hoops to get your name updated on your ss card.. She would not take my official documentment for proof of marriage because it was 14 years ago. Would not take my expired dl for I'd because it is expired even though she could see it was me..would not take proof of insurance not my check book. So she tried to lecture me as if I should know better.. There is lack of common sense and we are all just a bunch of sheep

Called to get my social replace I got nothing but horrible service once I said my name and being Hispanic she kept raising her voice and giving attitude thatshe couldn't hear meeven tho she had no problem when I didn't state my first name if this is a race issue this needs to be fix I'm an American Citizen and my name shouldn't effect the way people should treat me or any other Hispanic.

I call there everytime to get a answer back on my status and no one will return a call. I was disabled and then went under the Ticket to Work Program and once my extension of time was up in March, 2013 due to not wanting to loose my job and stay under there dollar amount they took all my benefits away and won't even give me my social Security Bemefits and I am 66 and 9 months old. I was without medical insurance until I turned 65 so I was forced back to work and this caused a overage on the amount to be made under the Disability Benefits but I still qualify for social Security and they won't give it back to me. I voluntary gave up the disability Benefits amd I am still emtitled to Social Security but they won't do the work to get it for me or return a call.

The receptionists are the only people worth anything here and it takes over twenty minutes on hold to reach someone. I've been struggling with a claim for over seven months now. They don't return calls and my case managerBrenthas been rude, impatient, condescending and plain incompetent every visit and call.

Go to Wausau office to get good service! Do not go to Wood County. Very rude staff. Many months waiting for them to have my mother-in-law's social security to be corrected. Many miscalculations and total incompetency. Went to Wausau and they finally figured it out.

First off it is ridiculous that I have to drive all the way from Point to rapids for this, second, it says they close at 4 on Wednesdays here and they tell you the same thing when you call. O no. They close at 12 on Wednesdays and 3 every other day. BULLSHIT! I drove all the way over there after being verbally told by someone today that they don't close till 4 and wasted the gas for nothing! Never again!

If it were to rain in that office the lady working the front counter would drown her nose is stuck up so far in the air. So would the security officer leaned back in his chair. Save the hassle go somewhere else.
