This office is awesome, not only the in-person services but also via phone. All the officers were nice, calm and very helpful. My case was delayed due to the holiday break and the pandemic but overall I had a very pleasant experience.nnSpecial thanks to Pauline who followed up and helped boosting my case process in just a few hours after the call.

Easy check in and quick support by a very friendly woman who made the whole experience just perfect.nThe waiting room could be much more welcoming though.

I had a recent experience with the West Chester office of social security. I spoke with John and he was VERY helpful. I later spoke with the Manager of the office and she was also helpful. She took the time to clearly explain the payment process. GOOD JOB !!! Thank You. Bob

Mr Smith at window #1 was very helpful, courteous and professional. I visited the office April 2022. Thanks again Mr. Smith

Iu2019ve been trying to get a payment thatu2019s well documented that it is owed to me. Itu2019s been so long that I paid taxes on it not the last but the year previous to that, so yeah 2 years ago. Theyu2019ve changed my agent 3 times without the courtesy to inform me (I ended up calling, only to find out the agent is someone new.). My lawyer has even sent them a letter saying the money goes to me and not him (In SSA records it says I had two lawyers but itu2019s the same guy. This is the holdup.). Too many federal workers and you know....nothing gets done.

A friend of mine is 67 years old and trying to retire but can't even get an appointment in the Chester Social Security Office. Unbelievable!!!

The phone system is horrible. It takes forever and then when you finally get someone the phone call ends. When you finally talk to someone they put you off by saying - it takes a few weeks to process. You wait and it is still an issue. Social Security needs to open their offices. The DMV has been open for months. The SSA works for us.

You can not even call them anymore. The phone just hangs up. I have been calling everyday for nearly a month and leaving messages on various voice mail accounts. Never got a call back. I am starting the 4th month of trying to get anything done at this office. Avoid this place if at all possible, go somewhere else.

A very brief wait ended with my working with Theresa Kozempol (spelling???). She was efficient, professional, and extremely helpful. In another very brief time, all my documents were taken care of. Couldn't have been more pleased with my dealings in this office. Thanks, Theresa!

Iv dealt with 3 other social security offices across PA and this is by far the worse. My case worker Mr. Knox never answers or returns calls. His voicemail saysI will return your call within 24 hoursNOPe not going to happen and iv tried to reach him for 2 weeks. The supervisor Mr. Horan never returned my calls either and trying to get my sons backpay released these people are ridiculous. They say I never brought certain papers I when I have multiple times. Each time I switched security office had no problems getting my info switched but now this chester office is having issues and now trying to say I owe money. I will take legal action before I pay or my so on loses benefits

Only waited 1/2 hour to be seen. The gentleman who helped me couldn't have been nicer. Only took him 15 minutes to correct my problem.
