Makes no senseu2026.stop by office to make an appointment and told you canu2019t go inside without an appointment. Get phone number and call, sit on hold for 25 minutes only to be transferred to Ardmore. Ardmore office says sorry, they canu2019t help and transfer back to Ada office. Same thing happens again. How can you make an appointment if nobody answers the phone and you canu2019t go inside to make appointment unless you already have an appointment. Garbage ZERO stars.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Apparently, the staff in this office stopped working even before they essentially closed the office for u201ccovidu201d, (from prior reviews) and they clearly have no intention of ever coming back to work. I have left FOUR voicemails for someone named u201cchrisu201d; he has not yet returned my call, let alone set up an in person appointment. If we are all vaccinated, why canu2019t we be seen and helped? I left paperwork in their drop box, weeks ago, and have not received any response. By the way, they DO have u201clobby hoursu201d, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 0900-1300, at which time you can stick paperwork in a box. They will not tell you this when you call, they will tell you to mail it with USPS, but only because they can then claim not to have received it. (See, itu2019s all about how NOT to help the public, how NOT to actually do their job, because they want to get paid to sit at home and do nothing, which is what has been happening for the last year and a half) I actually set up an appointment for a phone appointment, and that fellow was great. He was a little annoyed, said my phone appointment was to set up social security benefits, and the office staff should be able to help with my questions; I told him they would not assist me, they would not return my calls, and claimed to not be able to answer my questions by phone. He was a wealth of information, truly wonderful. I am not sure how we are supposed to get any assistance, honestly. Who can we contact to get some in-person help? Covid cases, hospitalizations and deaths are no longer an issue, the CDC has relaxed even mask requirements for vaccinated people; when are the government employees going to get the memo, and get back to work? The government wants to continue to take my money, but they donu2019t want to provide any services for my taxes.

absolute garbage, i was on hold for 25 minutes without a single answer, someone in ARDMORE got my call and transferred me back to wait 10 more minutes for a VOICEMAIL! Worst service EVER! Iu2019m going to have to go to Ardmore for any service, which is trash. they should close this office for good or get some actual employees.

Idk what it is but every ss office is worthless, especially ada, I called to have a lost ssc application sent to my house 4 times over the last 3 months and not one has shown up! And that's if you can get someone to answer the phone. Specifically the staff member named Chris is sho has mailed out what I've asked for

I spent days calling over & over again trying to get a manager on the phone. Was told many times they were going to take my call then transferred to a voicemail & call was never returned. Offices still closed due to covid so itu2019s appointment only. And no appointment with out speaking to manager. Worst service Iu2019ve ever received anywhere!!!
