I received a voicemail saying they were going to stop my benefits if I don't call in and update my information, which I had already done about 4 months ago. So I try to call and for the past 45+mins it just rings busy. I tried to go to the local office and it's closed to the public. Please tell me exactly how I'm supposed to update my information when you won't let me in or take my calls. I would really like to hear your answer on this. Professionalism is seriously lacking in this office.

Been calling for 8 days straight and the phone literally never rings just a busy tone says they are open on line but literally call 8 days almost straight except for the weekends and seems like no one is doing anything and if you find other counties that pick up the phone they say try your local administration building for help on paper work and so on but the one here in portsmouth ohio says open but literally is not letting people in and you can call every day all day and never rings just a busy tone why are these people even being paid to do a job they clearly are not doing

Man working on told me because of covid office visits are minimal. Out of country never had been seen before and they will take you. Or dying people. But not local people who need help getting the mandatory documents for there Child to start said mandatory school. The WORST part. Is being told the wrong information so waiting that much longer for them to certify send everything through the mail. It's absolutely rediculous. And there attitudes? Acting like there supprior or something because they work at the sso, yall aren't even taking your locals seriously and it's pathetic. I've heard story's much worse than mine where elderly can't even get the help you're SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE.

Always a problem with payments. Staff is friendly enough except one lady in particular named Kelly who threatened to stop my son's payments due to my defensive tone when she accused me of not reporting my income, which I ALWAYS did.nnThey never return calls or emails. Ive even had my income tax refund intercepted after they mistakenly didn't fix a wrongly filed ( because they RARELY posted ANY of the pay stubs in a timely manner) overpayment they eventually waived. I was able to get my money back.nnI've had too many bad experiences with this SS office. They can't do their jobs right and its been that way for about 15 years (since I started dealing with them) and its ALWAYS with the posting income and adjusting the SSI payments.nnNon stopwe owe your child moneythen turn around and say they want it back.nnOr..we paid your child too much money and need it back..and it was always because someone at the office messed up entering the income .

Can't get ahold of anyone to help me with my divorce change name and new married changed name. Everything else has opened up and I need to change my name before I get a new license and before my baby comes in December. Makes no sense why everything is opened but this isn't.
