Called and talked to a representative to get my SS amount and they were wrong. Applied for my benefits plus spousal and did not receive spousal. Called to talk to them and got a recording,Unable to answer your call at this time.Called national number and was disconnected after a 2 hour and 17 minute wait.

Made a special trip to my grandmother's home so that I could be with her to assist her in seeing documents to handle her business and called to speak with them. Hold times don't bother me, we're in crazy times and we both understand that. Was told her name looked familiar and that they would re-send the needed documentation to fill out through the mail. After waiting 2 weeks, we assumed the document was lost in the mail. My Dad called to ask about the document, but was told they can't discuss anything with him. Again, completely understand that, but was told that there was NO DOCUMENT TO SEND and she would need to call directly and they could handle her request over the phone. (Which would have been lovely had they done that 2 weeks prior when she and I called.) Once she called directly again, they set an appointment to call her almost 1 month later to handle her business. *I know for a fact all 3 of these points of contact were with the same employee, but unsure of the next* My grandmother had an accident and is currently in the hospital, so she was very concerned that she would miss her phone appt since she is not at home. She then called to try to reschedule it to be told it would be at least an additional month before she could have an appointment to handle her business. So she asked if they could possibly call to her hospital room rather than her home because she very desperately needs this business handled. She was told that they could call the hospital room number. She sat by the phone for 2 hours waiting still without receiving a call. I understand that they are busy, but to be given incorrect information and have someone repeatedly put you off so they can help you at a later time, then avoid reaching out to someone who it is your job to help is at best incompetence and at worst actively harming a vulnerable community.

Worst service ever! I'm trying to get my autistic 8 year old sons SSI started again and all I keep getting is the run around from these people! It's been weeks and weeks of me trying now!

Been trying to get my grandaughter ss fixed where my wife retired. Send in paperwork several times and still nothing, tried talking to a real person, no help....said needed to talk to Mrs. Kirkland , this lady will not call you back ..no matter what, still waiting after several weeks. My grandaughters mother passed away and we have custody of her. Why are we paying these people, not doing any work to help people.

Disrespectful. I was holding the line for about 30-45 minutes, and when the agent finally decided to take my call, he just hung up on me. What's wrong with you people ? Maybe instead of being so rude, you could try serving us a better way. BTW, the survey I filled OTA was really bad, but fully justified.

Went up there to show proof of income so my son can continue getting his disability after they shut it off for assuming how much I made without proof. They said it would fix it and got an email today showing it wasn't fixed. Don't assume how much someone makes just because that's how much you probably make.
