Extremely long hold times, 30 plus minutes, the oneu2019s answering the phone giving out false information or when you ask a question they seem like they donu2019t know the correct answer. Was given info and then find out weeks later after receiving a letter that I was given incorrect info over the phone. Get it together, youu2019re dealing with people lives.

I honestly wished I could leave zero stars. I was on hold for over 50 mins only to be transferred to hold another 40 mins to still not receive the help I called for. This is absolutely sad and highly disappointing. There has got to be an easier way for the public to get assistance. Don't waste your time calling. Try another county or go online.

How do I change my name, now that you can't go in person? I have been married since September, and I haven't been able to change my name. I have called, followed their instructions, and my name is not changed. The only thing that has happen is they confiscated my social security card when I mailed it to them. I can't get any answers. Every person I talk to gives me different information.

Can't ever get through. Have to listen to several minutes of uneeded information to begin with. Most of the time the wait is over an hour. Be nice to be able to leave a call back number. It always ask about doing a survey at the end of the callafter speaking to a representative well if I could ever speak to a representative I would. Would give it 0 stars if it would let you.

They do give copies of award letters but you must go to the office. They are busy but if you go or call the office promptly at 9 am you will be assisted quickly. This is a government agency people, so you will always have to wait after 9 am and the people will be rude and grouchy at times. It's like any other place you visit.
