While the call-in's automated menu options could use tidying up, as options are kinda drawn out, or extraneous, or vague; once you get through, your wait for a live support is very short! AND free of the terrible and repetitive, often blaringly distorted, prerecordedon holdmusic & messaging that leads to much gnashing of teeth among its sufferers. I was quite glad to do without that!nnAnd the live support was clear, concise, and courteous; also well informed and knowledgeable. Just very helpful overall. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased by the service I received during my call-in experience.

Compared to the Zionville, downtown Indianapolis, and Lawrence locations, they picked the phone up in a timely manner. The individual also answered all my questions in detail. I recommend the Kokomo office even if it is far for most Hoosiers.

Called and was answered in less than 10 minutes. The gentleman took care of my issue and imputed the data immediately . Problem solved! Great experience!

Waited for 30 min before was able to speak to anyone and the person that I did speak to was very rude and when asked for employee name and to to be transferred to supervisor was immediately hung up on....Federal Government should retrain their employees to act in a professional manner.

Y'all don't mind taking the tax out of my check. But sure can't assist. Isn't that why we pay taxes? For you to be closed for 2 damn years and never answer phones? Right.

Very disappointed in this office. Turned in my ID and Marriage Licenses more than a week ago to get my last name changed. My husband and I are going on vacation and I still don't have an ID. Had to call and switch a few things around because you need your ID WHEN YOUR TRAVELING.

Cant talk to anyone. How can you get an appointment when there is NO response. Ridiculous. This is important stuff. Why is this not easier for the public. A joke.

This place has continued to let my placement daughter down! We have had her going on 4 months and she still has not recieved her disability check! I went to the office to turn in we had placement of her within the first 3 weeks of having her. After turning in that the mother did not have legal custody anymore they continued to give the mother her check for 2 months! I've been to the Social Security Office 6 times and made multiple phone calls and continue to get the run around!

The time you have to wait is ridiculous. When you have something real simple, you still have to wait. Just because you have a number means NOTHING! What you are told is how important your visit is, is how soon you get waited on. Not my favorite place to go.

Everyone I have tried to speak to at the Kokomo location including the supervisor is unbelievably rude. When I asked to speak to someone above their head they refused to give it to me and then they hung up on me.
