Most of the time, no one is answering this phone. The main number for SS is also not being answered. All you get is the automated response system on both lines. When I finally did reach someone today, they were rude and hung up on me. They also advised me to give someone who called me--someone I did not know and whose number did not come up on caller ID, my boyfriend's social security number. I will be filing a formal complaint. All in all, it has taken me almost two weeks to make an address change.

I have been trying to help my mother with her social security benefits, however due to our local office not open unless you have an appointment has made that difficult. I understand that the phone lines are busy, but to not be able to speak to someone to make an appointment has only made this an overly complicated process.

There was a miscommunication about my ability to drop.off documents without an appointment. Officer Foster & the office supervisor went above & beyond to help me solve the problem. Great service!

We went there to apply for medicare for my mother, she's 76 year old. The security officer was really friendly and was very helpful. I thought, greatthere's only 2 people ahead of us. We finally could resolve this medicare issues today. Because we have tried the online and satellite offices approach with no success. I phone call approach won't work because we would get put on hold for hours. We got called up to the window after 5 minutes of waiting.nThe window lady was friendly. She told me my mom have to come back for an interview. I looked around and there was barely any customers around. Surely they are not busy. Then she told me that the earliest appointment is two months away. I was shocked. I expected one to two weeks at the most. My mom is old and I don't think she needs to jump threw loops to get health care.

This office is easy to access and very responsive. Calling the main number national number instead of Dade City number is night and day. The Dade City office is very efficient. They responded to all of my different requests quickly. The last two calls I had no wait time.

The security guard there is very nice & welcoming. He even gave my daughter a lollipop which was super nice. We got in and out in under an hour (I recommendngetting there before 9 am). The gentleman who helped me at the window was also very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this SS Office! ud83dudc4du2b50u2b50u2b50u2b50u2b50

No answer, long wait time. Need paperwork processed and cannot get to anyone.

I needed to get a replacement SS card for my 88 year old mother, who is in an ALF. Taking her out of the facility is a challenge, since she is wheelchair bound, but I knew she needed to be with me in order to get the replacement card. I had read reviews about what a nightmare it is dealing with the SS offices so I was anxious to say the least. I was beyond thrilled with how quickly we were seen and how kind and helpful the staff was. Both DJ and Mary were wonderful and made the experience a pleasant one. Even the security guard was very nice.

ALL SSA offices are closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Go to SSA.gov to find the number to call and they set you up. If you need to speak to someone in person they will give you an appointment to see someone in person.

Mrs Guerra was amazing very helpfull and very polite. I waited 27 months 2 get approved but once I was my file was sent to the dade city office and Mrs. Guerra was on top of everything. I was extreamly happy with her kind words and reasuring me. I needed to go back yesterday and I feel very lucky my paperwork is being sent to her again. If I could give her 5+ stars I would.

The staff here were really nice compared to the one in Tampa. Security guard was spot on and made sure nothing was happening that was not supposed too. He needs to be paid more and the staff behind the counter were really nice to us also. Recommend driving hours if need be to stay away from the Tampa SS office and come to Dade City to do your business.

Our secone time here. The office is very efficient an officer greets you at the door and you sign in through the kiosk to get a ticket. No need for an appointment, early weekdays there is less people.

One of.the most horrific and stressful experiences of my life. Case workers are condescending and have no sense of urgency. I have had to go to this office almost a half dozen times when I did not receive benefits as I was told. God have mercy if you need social security.

Had to change my last namr. Made an appt for 10:45. Got there at 10:30, got called to the window at 10:44 was walking out and done at 10:52. Plus the seats in the waiting room are cushioned and nice. The lady who did it was very nice too

They haven't sent my husbands S.S card or letter from disability showing amount he receives. We've been waiting 3 weeks!! And all offices are closed so we'll never know when or if he's going to receive the information he's asked for 3 times! Very disappointed

The office hours says open at 9:00 but at 9:00 the place is already full. They actually open the door at 8:30 and you can start getting your ticket number at that time. But the waiting time actually moves pretty fast.

Three times I gave out information over and over to the automatic robot, and then waited for a live customer representative, but then I was disconnected each time.

Stopped by SSA office without an appointment at 11:00 am to apply for Medicare Part B. I got right in. The representative I got was a Navy vet and was very professional and helpful. Hats off to him and the staff at Dade City.

Thank you CC for helping me create a pay-back schedule. Be advised that my Step-Son Robert was out of jail for a few days but, is now back in. I hear talk of a card with money on the card via Social Security. I infer that with this information that I will NOT run into this OVER-payment issue again. be Advised u2190 u221a

By far worth driving an extra 30 minutes to this location. Best social security visit I've ever had. In and out in 10 minutes without an appointment.

The security guard was very helpful and kind. The gentleman who assisted with my application provided excellent service and was very friendly. You should be proud of your exceptional staff!
    Rodrigo Melo
Terrible! The staff wasn't able to copy my wife's name from passport to the system, we fixed him 2x and at the end input wrong data! The application was called and we started from zero from other office!
    Mirinha Linda
Nobody there to help not by phone or by email or web. They just collect their pay check and could care less about people in need shame on them

2 times placed on hold. And then I talk to someone who can not speak English. It's amazing that they get paid as well as they do and are allowed to treat tax payers the way they do.

Call Dade City office and get Lakeland, Florida then I call again for updates because I'm told I'll get a call back. So next day I call and get Tampa,Demand,Leesburg and all these workers don't know what's going on in my case.

Took me around an hour to replace my new card without appointment! Quiet and not a lot of people.
    Raul Moya
On hold for 32 minutes, then someone or something hung up on me. Way to run a government. And to think I paid for this service throughout my working life.
    Morena Bella
The wait here is ridiculous!! Iu2019ve been standing waiting to be called for a replacement card! Iu2019ve been waiting 2 1/2 hours and no numbers have been called in the last 35 mins!!!! This place is a joke!!
    Colleen Ouellette
