I have called several times to try and speak to someone about SSI. I have updated the address on file 5 times. When I called today and spoke to someone he asked me if my address was the one they had on file. I explained that I have told them the updated address about 5 times so I don't know why they are not updating it. He got mad at me and saidjust so you know if your going to get snippy with people no one is going to help you.I was not being rude, I did not raise my voice, all I said was that I have given the correct address 5 times already. I don't understand why that was considered beingsnippyand it's unprofessional to refuse to help someone just because they are frustrated with the level of support and communication they are receiving!!

I have called 3 times today, listened to the menu, selected the appropriate number and then get put on hold. Just when you think you've connected to someone after being on hold, the phone clicks and the person or system hangs up on me. Why?? Who is the supervisor of this office? Who is monitoring the calls? The same thing happened to my daughter who attempted to call several times. I have complained in writing to the general social security email on their national website. Other than to keep calling does anyone have any suggestions?

I am trying since 3 months to get my SSC. It is almost impossible to reach them on phone to make an appointment and they don't let you in without an appointment. I was at least 30h the last few month in their phone line. Very very unprofessionell. No one can help me. Every officer says something different. I had three in person appointment but still no card. They enjoying the Covid because they are not working anything right now. Worst experience ever.

Melissa is awesome. Otherwise nobody answers the phone, everyone's voicemail is full, very sad that elderly and disabled have to go through this to get help.

Social Security agent on phone would not send me copy of my social security statement directly to me by mail instead going to my payee which takes longer. Then tells me I have a current overpayment that was already paid back in March in full!

Kudos to the two ladies here who tracked down my paperwork that got misplaced through the mail system. I was originally denied, but they tracked down my paperwork and got me approved. And they did it over the weekend to boot. That's what I call going above and beyond expectations. Thank you!

Very rude people, it's ashame they don't like their work! This customer service is really one of the most important community jobs we have for the public

The staff here are shockingly inept. Not rude at all, just ignorant, lazy, and mentally lacking. After visiting three times for a simple issue of a paperwork disconnect between the DMV and the Social Security Office, we finally got the paperwork we needed. To reiterate it took three visits, all because the staff is ignorant of policies dealing with their responsibilities. When I calmly and respectfully made a suggestion of how to prevent the issue for people in the future the clerk didnu2019t have the mental ability to understand the suggestion. I was then told I would have to leave if I made any further suggestions for improvement... This office is the stereotypical example of a government institution that doesnu2019t care about customers, doing their job competently, or anything past when their breaks are and when closing time is so that they can leave.

WOW! I was reading some of the reviews and I wonder who is really at fault here. I have been to this office 6 times and have never been treated rudely by anyone. I always try to go early and get waited on quicker.nMaybe it's because I am old with a long beard and I wear my Vet hat and they're afraid of a PTSD induced rage monster...lolnSorry, just trying to lighten up the mood here. I'm really warm and fuzzy.

I tried to get help , my psychiatrist says I need to be put on disability they sent me to their doctor their doctor said the same thing , they both said I canu2019t work because of my ptsd paranoia and bipolar disease, but yet they denied my application, they all will learn !

Usually fast service aside from the obvious blitzkreig at the beginning and end of each month. I have been here personally many times and try to get my business done mid-month if possible. I never wait longer than 45 minutes and then service is typically 10-15 minutes tops. I still schedule myself for 2.5 hr anyway just to ensure I am seen.

Terrible service had me waiting on the phone for 55 minutes and then wouldn't except Important documents like birth certificates even a medical Insurance letter with I.d. was no good...not even a official social security Income letter sent by them was no good then to top off they tell you to get up and get out cause they have to call the next number they won't help you get or wait to see if you have the documents they need I just needed social security card replacements for my grandkids they are very rude lady at window C they act like robots no emotion and don't care about your situation at all.... not even a Thankyou Goodbye or at least have A Nice Day they just stare at you blank face like they don't see you there!!

Some of the most apathetic condescending employees ive ever seen. They screw up royally and when you hold them accountable they react extremely hateful. Im so disappointed that they arent supervised better and taught empathy towards those they are serving. Its not cool to feel intimidated by an office you have to go to for help. Is there anywhere to file a complaint?

It doesn't seem like anybody in the social security office, is even remotely close to being on the same page. first I was told two weeks now I'm being told up to 4 weeks to get my information back. Really!?!

I called the number given to me to this office just to change some info on my direct deposit. I got a person named MICHELLE. She disconnected our call the first time. Then, I was trying to explain my problem to her and she kept interrupting me. She was rude and hateful. I told her she was not listening to me and kept interrupting me. She said she was hanging up, so I did first. It's bad enough to have to deal with government bs, but when it is done in an unprofessional manner, I do not need that type of help.

Unfortunately, the Technician, Veronica & two other women-No names, I'm NOT a negative person & this is My 1st time to STAND-UP for myself, that Veronica & the other two, are so disrespectful, unprofessional, extremely cruel & humiliating, when it's already humialing to be there in the 1st place, asking/seeking help. I don't know how they get away with treating people-just as equal-with such Disrespect. I pray if they ever become sick w/ a disease or diseases that there's NO CURE for, that they never get mistreated, especially if they are having a severe attack & are fighting to just get through the Day, may God have Mercy on you.

The office is short staffed, consequently, you are rushed through and if you ask questions the representative repeats exactly what was said, so you donu2019t get a clear answer. Possibly the reps do not understand the rules either. The reps are very practiced at being professional, you get a cold stare and robotic replies, so u201cyou donu2019t have any thing to complain about.u201d Extremely frustrating!!
    David Chumbley
Staff was friendly, helpful, and expeditious. Thankfully I do not have to go often and the last time I went to one of these it was brutal.
