WOW! Professional, extremely knowledgeable and helpful, Mrs. Hamilton thoroughly and clearly explained my Social Security options to me. After the conversation with her, I feel confident and assured that I can make the best decision for my retirement. Many thanks to Mrs. Hamilton for one of the best educational experience I have ever had with a government employee. I didn't expect to be amazed.

I had a 9:30 AM appointment and the office is not open. Not a single employee is on site. The door is closed and there have been numerous people with appointments waiting outside who have left at this point. When I tried to call the office, the number rings busy/unavailable. Why werenu2019t customers notified of an office closure? This is extremely frustrating. I could have been at work today.

I came in the morning and the security guard helped me get the applications I needed.nnI come back later to submit the fourms at 12:30pm and it says they are open from 9-4 today but no one is answering when knocking on the door and it's locked.nnI call and tried to get a hold of someone from the department but because I delayed in speaking right away the woman hung up on me.nnIt's frustrating because I have to start all over with the automated messages before talking to anyone.nnIf they are at lunch at this time, they can at least put a sign out front saying when they'll be back.nnWhat's the point of saying its open but no one answers and it's locked?nnBad communication.

Had probably the best experience I have ever had with a government agency. Spoke with Bonnie and she was able to save me a lot of time by helping me to understand the process of my application and the most efficient way to submit my application.

Had a great time here! Wait was not too long as I had an appointment, and the employee who I saw was knowledgeable and had a great personality. She made my day with our conversation and level of attention she gave to my concerns and needs. I had not expected to have a good time at the Social Security office, but U did and will go back there agsin when I have concerns.

I went into the SS office in Vallejo for the first time to register for my benefits and was treated like I was there to steal the money. I sat there for an hour being completely ignored and finally left and went to the Napa office. Like night and day. Everybody was courteous and I Was in and out in a half an hour.

I was actually very impressed with the professionalism of the personnel I dealt with and her attitude was awesome!! I know the SS-office gets packed so I arrived before they opened, even then there was a line. But I got done pretty quickly. The lines got a lot longer by the time I was done. My advise -- get there by 8:15 am and wait. Or make an appointment.

ForUnearned income between 2013-2016.nImpossible.nI've asked several times for an explanation and got none..they deducted $300. each month from my ;nmonthly payments.nFor years.nIt just finally ended.nI'm just now receiving my full payment.nHave questions re this.

I had a very bad experience with this office. My wife applied for SSN only to have a lady not know what she was doing. We can tell she was walking back and forth looking for someone to answer question on how to address our problem. She was suppose to manually verify my wife's identity, wait 5 weeks only to come back to learn that nothing was done. Now my wife's i94 will expire only because this office has untrained workers who don't have training. If you are a foreigner, dont go to this office, they dont know what to do with people apply for SSN

It take so long to be seen by someone, good service but you need to clear your agenda for that day because you will be there for a couple of hours unless you go 25mins before they close you will still be seen even after they close

I hate waiting in the room. Don't use the report wages application it will misrepresentate you when you cash more than one check (working).
