    They are horrible. I called to make an appointment and waited for over 30 minutes and got not answer. I tried to do a walk in to see if I could get someone to see me, but the guard said it was by appointment only.nnI went home and called to make an appointment again, only to be answered by a lady with attitude and, by her tone, you could tell that she did not want to work there. When I told her I wanted to make an appointment, she said that the office is currently closed and does not take appointments. When I told her that I went to office and the guard told me it was appointment only, she offered a different number.nnWhen I called the 2nd time, I hadstatedthe wordappointmentwhen the machine asked what I was calling for and that directed me to the rude lady. Why they would direct me to her when she can't make appointments is beyond me.nnDon't waste your time with them.

    I cannot say enough about how helpful this office was, in particular Oscar, who was by far the best customer service representative I have encountered over the 21 year span of interactions with different agencies I've had helping my disabled daughter. I had tried to reach someone regarding my daughters needs over the past couple months, but was not making much progress and when we found out my husband was deploying unexpectedly and would be gone for 8 months, this appt became critical to making sure she was taken care of while he was gone. I called, full of anxiety and expecting that I would most likely get routed somewhere else, or not be met with a friendly voice ... but I was absolutely WRONG! The voice was not only friendly, it was helpful, informative, and sincere. By the end of our phone call I had everything I needed to take care of my daughter and a smile on my face.nTHANK YOU OSCAR & the team at the National City office!!

    I had an appt at 9:30 and they never called me not even at 12. The security guard, tall one , was so rude to everyone. I saw elderly ladies crying and people. I am so disappointed. I had to use the restroom after 3 hrs waiting but was told no restrooms. It was a total mess and to deal with the rudeness was humiliating. Shame on all of you

    I do not normally leave bad reviews like this but my experience has been unsatisfactory, to say the least. 4 1/2 minutes on the phone just to navigate the automated answering machine. Then, the same guy answers (when it actually connects) and it sounds like he's in a porcelain bowl, on a cell phone with 1 bar of service. How am I supposed to make an appointment? Can't book online. Can't get anyone to answer the phone.

    The customer service rep was so rude from the beginning. As I was trying to explain, she said we are not taking appointments. When I tried to get my family member on the line, she said she would hold and disconnect. Since then I have been trying to call back. If this is not the position, you want then maybe you should go look for a job elsewhere. It doesn't help that I am trying to navigate through all of the items provided with their office closed.

    Most unorganized, unprofessional set of morons I have ever had to deal with in my life. Please get competent individuals who understand their role and are willing to fulfill their purpose in this office before someone walks in with less to lose than myself and gets treated like I did today.     I called the customer service today just to get an update if they are taking walk in or in person appointments for correcting the name on the SS card since i needed it to get done so all my info like passport and other cards would match my maiden name but then he hanged up while I was talking still. How rude is that!

    I sent original documents in July. I had to call 9 times and each time and was given the run around for MONTHS. I called one last time and spoke to a woman on the phone who within seconds told medon't call this extention anymore. Call the main line from now on. I got this extention from their office. Overall the customer service was terrible. I will never deal with this office again. Finally, 3 months later, I received my documents.

    I absolutely hate coming to these kinds of places. The long lines, the rude people. This is hands down the nicest and most efficient government building I have ever been in. Nice and knowledgeable staff. I needed a replacement social security card they got me in and out in 11 minutes with about 10 to 15 people ahead of me. The DMV needs to step their game up. I'm thinking of losing my social security card a little more often just to go through the experience again. LOVED IT!

    Went to National City office on Thursday April 26th,2018 with a friend to get some paperwork together .Was there from 12 noon to about 2:15pm.Got called to window #4 employee was very rude not helpful at all seemed to not to like African Americans .He was yelling at a African American man and his wife that was in the line before us and then we got up there and he did not help us at all .He was a short chubby Filipino guy. I'm pretty sure this is not the first time he has done this to people he needs to be fired.
